Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

NigeriaPoor Internet services and food. One of the female receptionist refused to give me my complete balance of 3 dollars and 6 cent. She rather gave me 2 dollars and 5 cents. Claiming that the apartment does not give change as all payment are done by card payments, not cash payment like I did. I demand a refund of my balance of 1 dollar plus.
The breakfast was not worth it. No real food. All sugar ad salt.

Quieter ac/ heater unit Overall it’s not horrible- but not great either. I felt safe enough, ac was nice and cool. Will give them another chance but if things don’t improve, probably won’t stay here again
Close to KU Med Center. Staff hard to understand. Somewhat rude. Breakfast very very weak. No individual, sealed milk cartons, just a communal pitcher…. Sausage over cooked, and gone by 8:00. Were told they didn’t have any more. No doughnuts, or pastries. Room clean enough, but found a toilet brush on top of the clothes hanger. Pool empty. Bed was comfortable. Bedding appeared clean. Had to request more blankets and towels. Smoke smell in hallways. Guests across the hall had some sort of device in the room to clean a smell in the air that caused them to cough violently. They checked out and left. I’m a cancer patient and have to have frequent tests and checkups. I love that this motel is close to Med Center, but question if this place is even healthy enough to stay at. Corporate needs to be notified ASAP.

Reviews were pretty on point. Arrived 30 minutes after check in started, and the front desk clerk had no clue that our room had not been serviced yet from the night prior. Breakfast was subpar (not even coffee was found), and the rooms were mostly clean. We didn't want to shower because the shower looked questionable. We just stayed long enough to sleep and then leave.

United StatesThe entire place was not clean at all. The pool was green and cloudy, did not swim in it. There are people that live in the hotel and will ask you for money and are rude to people traveling through. We were traveling for a wedding and arrived 1 hour early before their check in time and would not allow us to check in unless we paid an additional $35. So we waited in our car for an hour with our 3 year old while it was 102 degrees out.
Location was great and close to everything.

United StatesFire alarm went off at 6:15. Alarms working is a plus. But no fire, guest burnt their toast but no one said false alarm, had to go out and look and call office. Went to breakfast, hardly any food. Couple pieces of bread and biscuits, brownies, cereal. No sausage or coffee. They said they don't make eggs or gravy. Told desk. Went back to room. Went back 10 minutes later, still none. He said he put it out. When finally got a coffee, my husband said room coffee better than that. Room coffee is never great. Plus only decaffeinated in room. Had to ask for regular when we first checked in. The hotel was very full so why not be prepared. Breakfast lady absent, front desk doing it all. Disappointed. Also side note: we arrived at 5:45. After checking in I went back to car, a very dilapidated van had the back window broken out with a trash bag covered cardboard gaping over it. They backed so close to my car, barely got to open the door. My husband said they were not guys to mess with. They parked, got in another car and left. That was scary. Made me think of Ozark.
