For the price I have no complaints

It’s old but adequately maintained to keep price low . Just a good place to rest not a resort place . Breakfast was good, staff helpful.

It needs a bit more TLC which explains the remodeling ongoing. Parking is a bit of a mess but additional garage below helps. The water pressure was terrible on the top floor. They tried to fix ongoing issue. Breakfast and service team was outstanding though. Welcome surprise.

Great location in proximity to freeway and nearby shopping in the area. About 10-15 minutes into Newport Beach ocean area as well.

Breakfast could offer a better selection of foods (e.g. ham, cheese and fruit) and the cooked stuff (eggs, sausages) should be warmer. There is no longer an espresso machine in the breakfast area (just precooked coffee) - but you can make one for free in the reception lobby and bring it with you.

My room on the back side of the biuilding was extremely quiet, given the hotel's locaiton next to a busy street and highway. The bed and cover were large and very comfortable. There was enough parking space and the garage was a bonus. Very convenient location for driving to UCI campus (or CM fairgrounds) as well as visiting the beaches.

Construction noise early in the morning rooms need updating look the same from 2008 all furniture needs to be replaced old chairs all chip up just needs updating for 200 a night

Air conditioning unit had a mildew smell when the air blew. The breakfast could have had more varieties of fruit and in better quality.

Perfect location for what we needed. Room was satisfactory. Beds and pillows were comfortable.

The paint colour, the rug and the decoration of the room are of old style and dull ( all in beige and brown colour) which gives out the impression of neglect at the first glimpse.

This hotel is very well situated along route 55. The room is spacious, clean, well ventilated and well sound proof. The beds are comfortable with lots of pillows and clean sheets. The bath room is also spacious and there’s an ante bathroom countertop with a second wash basin which is a nice addition to have. The bathroom is furnished with plenty of small bottles of shampoos, hair conditioners, body lotions, body wash and hand soap from good brand name,not like the other comparable hotels which furnish the bathroom with big distributor bottles of no named shampoo and body wash. There’re indoor and outdoor free parking which is a plus. Breakfast is simple, not many choices but good .

When I walked into my room it smelled like urine.

Noise travelled through door from adjoining room too easily. The guest woke us up. Also, cleaning staff knocked on door at 8 am and should have waited until we officially checked out. Had to place do not disturb sign on the door.

Third sleeping arrangement for the sofa bed was uncomfortable but they brought in a roll away bed that worked pretty good.

The 3rd bed could of been a more comfortable situation then the sofa bed or roll out mattress.

Breakfast could have included some fresh fruit aside from a very few bananas.

The breakfast as adequate, nice room and friendly staff. Our room was large with lots of places to put our computer, snacks, and toiletries. Free Wi-Fi was a plus. It was quiet with good elevators and plenty of underground parking as well as outside parking. It was a good location, with easy access to good restaurants, shopping and Balboa Island. Easy on and off the freeway as well.

Shuttle was not as advertised. Was not available when I needed to get from the airport (it was in Ontario) and was not available until 6 am, which was too late for my 7 am flight.

Breakfast was ok, they might need a better cook for the watery eggs lol. Staff supervises your breakfast pretty tight, they should loosen up and let people serve themselves and eat. Our room confirmation email said the room included a hot tub. It didn't and staff couldn't accommodate our request so that was a bit of a bummer. It's kind of expensive but you're paying for the location and it was a clean, safe hotel.

Location is perfect for the oc fair, you can walk there in 5 minutes. Room was super clean and tidy. Staff was friendly. It's quiet and safe feeling.

Jacuzzi jets need maintenance, but everything else there was perfect.

The property was very clean, well lit and quiet. The staff was helpful, the beds were very soft and comfortable. The free breakfast was excellent, staff there was again helpful and professional.

The breakfast room could you a little more cleanliness on the furniture. Food was good and it was great to have that in the mornings :)

I loved that you had all the things you needed. As a big family it was great to have breakfast included in the mornings and then hot the beaches or places to go during the day. Hotel had a laundry room and it was very helpful coming from the beach with wet towels and swimsuits to have them washed and dried! Loved the underground parking for convenience that has an elevator taking you up to the room.
