Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I really enjoyed myself staying at Best Western. Everything went pretty well. The breakfast was very delicious. I really felt like home being there. I was really at peace. I never felt so good in my life.

The seating for the breakfast area is a bit too small for the amount of guests that were there when we stayed.
We had an excellent stay, our room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of hot & cold with cold boiled eggs, yoghurt and little cartons of milk available in a separate counter top fridge fresh fruit is also available together with either an individually wrapped muffin or sweet pastries. We were offered a cold complimentary 500ml bottle of water upon arrival which is a nice touch. There is an excellent supply of teabags and hot water together with a self serve coffee machine available 24/7 just in front of reception in the seating area. In the afternoon there is also a large glass jar of complimentary cookies to have with your hot drink. We felt safe staying here and will defo stay again. Good sized car park with plenty of spaces.

Facilities were clean and inviting when we first entered - nice, fresh coffee and cookies. Excellent breakfast - much better than, for example, any Hilton we stayed at during our 7-day road trip. Staff were friendly and efficient.

What my wife didn’t like was driving all day and getting in at 3 am only to wake to no water. She and my son were not able to shower before leaving. My wife questioned the front desk about compensation and was told there would not be any. So basically we paid full price for a bed and a shower then not allowed a shower. Very disappointing after spending the previous day on the road for 18 hours. To have been topped of by the staff dismissing her and not offering any help.

Unfortunately, the bed was really hard, like probably the most firm and hard bed I have ever experienced in a hotel outside of a cruise ship. If it would’ve been just a little bit better, this stay would’ve been absolutely perfect. But the hard bed actually made me sore the next day, and I would hesitate staying again due to the bed being so firm. I like a firm bed, but this so was extreme, like laying on a table, it had no give.
The ladies at the front desk were so welcoming and kind, I got two free waters, they had free cookies that were actually pretty good, and there was coffee and tea and the lobby as well. Parking was easy, Peezy, and everything was overall clean.

Only one problem in an otherwise great experience- the bed pillows are tiny little squares and not comfortable. We had a king sized bed with 4 little “chicklets” and there were none extra to be had nor any regular sized pillows. Not comfortable.
Everything was very clean and smelled fresh washed. Bed was very comfortable and staff very nice. Breakfast was good and hot.

Hot water wasn’t very hot for our showers in the morning. Full house at the hotel for a football game so assume that had something to do with it. Sky-high pricing for a football weekend but that’s to be expected.
Clean, comfortable, and a good breakfast. Better than you would expect for a Best Western product.

Hotel prices during FSU game weekends are absurd but that’s everywhere in Tallahassee!

Someone knocked on our door at 8:30 pm. I wouldn't let them in and he said he was the manager. I called the front desk and she said it was probably the manager. AT THAT TIME OF NIGHT. Either she was part of a scam or the manager was stupid to try to get in the room after dark at 8:30 p.m. ?????? Someone is lucky they did not get shot.
