Felt the hotel grounds was a disjointed with rooms being down in the “basement”. Rooms are not ideal for family of four with teenagers. Nowhere to store luggage & had to rearrange furniture. We had some water issue with bathroom & adjoining carpet but they gave us a discount.

Great location, Ranch across road is worth the visit. Walk along Sunset Boulevard to Sunset Plaza, close to Starbucks. Breakfast was good - buffet breakfast. Room was okay, bathroom nice, had a little balcony.

The hotel was very clean, but a bit older/worn. The rooms could use an update. They were nice sized rooms, but the walls and carpets were a bit older...they were as old/worn in the hallways and also some of the common areas. If the rates were a bit less expensive you could accept this a bit more; however, this hotel charges as much as its competitors on Sunset Blvd. Even though you get complimentary breakfast, the rates were as high as some of their nearby competitor properties.

Breakfast was great, and there was a variety every day (not the same things served each day). Location was great, and the room had a small fridge, microwave, and Kuerig-style coffee maker. It was very easy to keep food/snacks in your room...not having to waste leftovers from restaurants. We were able to get snacks from local stores, including coffee that we wanted to brew. The hotel was very generous with their complimentary coffee, and housekeeping was very accomodating with any in-room requests.

Plastic cutleries and paper plates.

The pool and the surrounding area were lovely. Good breakfast was offered and we liked that you could take it to the pool side or to your room. Staff were very helpful and kind. 40 minutes walk from “the walk of fame” and No 2 bus stop is in front of hotel. Beverly Hills is similar distance. Many pizza places, restaurants and bars are within a couple of minutes walk.

This hotel standard was acceptable approx. 30 years ago, a serious refurbishment is urgently needed. Breakfast was the same lowest quality every day…

Staff could be a bit more friendly perhaps.. We booked and paid for a room for three for fours nights .. they always left only two towels and every time we asked for a third towel, their response was never quick, we have to call back to remind them, or friendly as they always had an annoyed tone of voice like we were asking for the impossible ahah 🤣 The gym is super basic. 😢

had to run the hot water in the shower for a solid 5 minutes before any hot water arrived, and then it only lasted for a short time - terrible waste of water and time. The breakfast room was above our room and the sound of chairs scraping on the floor as guests sat down to eat woke us up every morning.

The patio and swimming pool are lovely, the room itself was good but nothing special though I appreciated the lighting. The bathroom was modern and sleek.

The breakfast was ok not great. Upon our arrival the bathroom had an intense odor from the cleaning products they used. We switched rooms until they recleaned the bathroom the next morning. The carpet was damp from being shampooed.. I think they need to train the cleaning staff better.

Location is great, the room was quiet. The spacious balcony room had a great view of downtown LA. AC and heat worked fine. Shower was great…Bathrooms are marble
