Room refrigerator did not work. I reported it to front desk and they called the right people to deal with it. It was handled promptly and to my satisfaction. No interruption to my stay as I was out of the room the entire time.

The rooms are a little dated - popcorn ceilings and somewhat tired televisions as manifested in the not-so-great sound. The sound of the fan in the bathroom was very, very loud - but really, that's it. None of these things would prevent me from visitng again. Service at the restaurant was gracious but very slow. It seems that they are pretty understaffed in all the restaurants in town, so compared to the 90 minute wait for a taco at the mall restaurant, our wait at Arches was no big deal.

This is a lovely oasis just outside of town. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. It's a lovely setting, peaceful and serene. It would have been nice to spend more time and bike or play tennis. We loved the setting, the food, and the kindness of the restaurant staff. The pool looked inviting as did the all the surroundings. It was quite a treat to walk around the golf course that is no longer operational and my dog enjoyed all the sights and scents.

In order to be called resort and spa, they should probably provide soaps larger than the crummy little postage stamp size ones you find at Motel 6 — two — one for the sink and one for the tub. Thicker towels would also go along way toward enhancing the resort image.

The staff was really nice. We had a suite that was very spacious. Nice pools, one heated. Tennis courts. The dining was great.

I enjoyed the location of the resort. It’s central to the areas attractions i.e. Anza-Borego State Park, Ocotillo Wells SRVA and the large sculptures the Borrego Springs is known for.

Getting time to update interior and bathrooms. Everything was cleaned and functional but seems dated.

A couple of stovetop burners in the kitchenette would be great so easy meals can be prepared. A kettle for boiling water and a coffee maker to the room would be a simple add too. We had to go down to the car and make tea and coffee from our overlanding kitchen in the morning.

We loved staying at the resort. Front desk was in general helpful. Hot tub probably needs some maintenance, it was really frothy.... But it's great there was a hot tub :) Rooms are not run down but not brand new either, in general room felt roomy and we had a view towards the desert in the back. No complaints, room was good! Free coffee in the lobby was appreciated too. Location is great, just a bit outside of the centre of Borrego springs. Onsite restaurant was good.

Spa facility completely closed; I had hoped for, at least, a good massage. I wish the facility had elevators. Hauling my suitcase up and down stairs was difficult with arthritis in my knees and hips.

Everything was just fine, comfortable, clean with excellent staff. Beautiful, well-kept setting in the desert.

My family and I spent the Veteran's Day weekend at Borrego Springs Resort. The price was reasonable, and our top-floor room was spacious and quiet, with a sofa bed that was perfect for our six-year-old son. We enjoyed the large balcony that offered great views of the mountains. The resort-style pool was clean and had comfortable lounge chairs and cabanas, and we had a great time there.

The rooms felt dated. Noisy fan in the bathroom and the bed was squeaky (though otherwise comfortable). Given that we didn't use all the facilities, I think there would have been better options in town for us.

Well maintained grounds. We enjoyed the pool and whirlpool. The reception staff were always friendly and helpful with any request.

The fan in the bathroom was really loud. At breakfast, we overheard other guests complaining about the loud fans in their bathrooms.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had two spacious, slightly outdated rooms with a small kitchen and bathroom. Really comfy bed. Convenient parking lots. The location is just stunning. Easy to relax here. Wish we could have stayed longer.
