Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaIt is extremely overpriced and restaurant service there is slow at least it was for TGI Fridays. Room wasn’t the cleanest. WiFi also is terrible. You are paying 5 star prices for a standard hotel with restaurants and a beach. All about the location.
It’s a GREAT location. Extremely convenient with the park next door. Beach is nice as well.

United States of AmericaProperty was nice, clean and the location relative to the park cannot be beat. That said we stayed in a Sunday and a lot was not open in the way of food. The advertising of closed by noon is understandable but add that to what was closed and it felt odd and not welcoming to be staying there, more of a “if you must stay here tonight then so be it” type of vibe. The room was cheaper for the time of year but still 200 dollars to not feel welcome doesn’t leave the best taste in your mouth. We just bought our gold passes and were trying it out so we know for next year, and maybe it’s because we go to Disney World a couple of times a year but we are used to feeling more welcomed and not as though we are at a hotel shutting down operations the next day.

United States of AmericaMy main complaint is there are no coffee makers in the rooms because they have a Starbucks on site. However I like to have coffee on the balcony without having to get dressed and walk 5 minutes and wait in line so I can bring it back to the room. also it’s nearly impossible yo find a parking spot. we drove through several lots before finding one.
Location! There is so much to do there without even leaving the property. of course there’s Cedar Point and the Boardwalk but there’s also plenty of restaurants on site, an arcade, several pools, jacuzzis and fire pits.

United States of AmericaThe restaurants inside and around cedar point close way to early. We had to find a place to deliver food there. This Friday inside hotel turned us away at 9pm because they said they close at 10 . They sat a party of 2 and we were a party of 5.
Easy access to cedar point, variety of pools and hot tubs.

United States of AmericaThere was a fire alarm that went of at 4:30 am. No explanation from management was ever given. A fireman had reassured us that it was a false alarm. I believe the price for the room is a bit exaggerated. We would stay here more often if it was more affordable.
Amenities, beach, proximity to Cedar Point, restaurants, room. We enjoy staying at the Breakers as it feels like a true vacation, even though we're only 45 minutes from home!
