Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe chairs and small table were uncomfortable, we had to bring in the outside patio chairs to sit comfortably. Housekeeping left us only a partial roll of TP, thankfully we travel with a spare!
Clean, quiet, easy check in/out.

United States of AmericaRoom had a couple of spider webs that need to be dusted off but that's not a complaint just an observation. I personally have no complaints
It was a nice roomy cabin, has everything you need for the price. I'll definitely try to stay here again.

United States of AmericaTLDR: Okay for one night as a base for Bryce, but bring all of your own breakfast and lunch because no nearby restaurants are reliably open in the off-season, even if they say so on Google. Details: We, two parents with young kids, stayed 3 nights and we had a lot of trouble feeding our family. Rooms provide a microwave and a refrigerator, but just a few more kitchen supplies would go a long way - for instance, a toaster so you could at least eat a bagel, or some microwave-safe cups to heat up water in for tea. Hosts didn't seem surprised when I called to alert that the cups provided were not microwave-safe and started to burn in the microwave. Chose this place based on several reviews raving about great restaurants and coffee shop across the street. I didn't realize this entire greater area of Utah essentially shuts down in the winter season, despite very heavy crowds at Bryce. There is a grocery store across the street but challenging to utilize with hotel room-level kitchen supplies. On our last day we drove 30 minutes to a bakery in a different town, as it said it was open, only to find it closed. This was a systemic issue; we kept trying different places that said they'd be open on Google, only to find everything shut down for the season, or the actual hours differing drastically from what was posted online. Seems most everything is closed in the winter, yet Bryce was actually closing off parking lots in the park because they were so full. Any coffee shop could have made a killing if it had been open. Many restaurants were only open for dinner a few nights a week, with conflicting info online about which nights they'd be open. The hosts of this place could have given us a heads up about this situation when we booked; anyway you are all warned now. We visited in December 2023.
Convenient location for visiting Bryce canyon. Comfortable beds and clean living spaces. But I would probably choose a different option next time.

United States of AmericaAlthough there is a fridge and microwave, there was not even a paper cup for drinking even water and no coffee ups for the coffee make. No ice. Could not figure out how to watch live TV. When I called the owner got some very kind girls to round up a few paper cups.

United States of AmericaDelayed email with cabin code caused uneeded stress and phone call. The code to the door would not allow entry so we had to call to get in. Guy we called was pretty nice.
The cabin was nicer than expected. We booked a good day as the wind was howling and it was a chilly 24 degrees. Tropic is an awesome little small town in an awesome location.

AustraliaNothing really, we enjoyed our stay. As it is an older property, we accidentally tripped the circuit breaker by having the microwave and coffee maker on at the same time but they came very promptly to fix it. Perhaps a small sign to warn of this would have been good.
Very convenient location for Bryce Canyon - about a 20 min drive. Close to shops and restaurants in the small town of Tropic. Older property but has been very nicely renovated. Staff were very prompt with responding to our messages. Daily housekeeping was a surprising touch.
