The indoor pool was in very bad shape. We were trying to go swimming and the electricity wasn’t working in the pool area. It was also in really bad shape. Our room had a weird smell. The rooms were also in need of major update. Rented the room because of indoor pool for my kids but was not able to swim with my kids when we got there, no lights or electricity. Seam during the next day but it’s falling apart.

Everything was good

Location is great. Staff was friendly. Old hotel but the stay was much better than at any shore motel. Very quiet. Restaurant and bar located next door. Swimming pool inside the hotel. Kids friendly.

Somewhere around the grounds of the hotel there was no place to wash the sand off of your feet. The guests then track sand into the hotel.

Over all it was great. But I think their should be bathrooms closer to the pool. Swimmers would have to go up into the lobby to use the bathroom. The rooms were mice but could use a little upgrade.

I reserved 2 suites in June and unfortunately we were put on 2 different floors, one on 8th other on 2nd.

We were able to check in before 4pm which I did request.

The room could've used some updating, especially the windows. We had a great view but could barely see through the old windows and we couldn't open them either which was a bummer because I love the fresh sea air.

The staff was very courteous, friendly and helpful. I also loved the proximity to the beach!

We knew our room would be small and still have a sink, microwave, and all the other necessities. It felt like we were sleeping in someone’s kitchen. Still a good value.

They need to update and make it accessible for wheelchairs (carriages and rolling luggage). The stairs to the pool are off-putting. They also need a foot shower or something.

The building has art deco charm and the beach is gorgeous! Beautiful town and neighborhood, close to AC but a world away. The restaurant and live music make this a really special destination. We will be back.

The facilities are a little lacking--front deck and lobby are threadbare, with sparse old furniture. They could do some minimal investment and make the space much more luxurious and usable.

Great location, and love that they include beach tags in your reservation. The room was fine, the view was great. Love the little arcade room, we played pinball for an hour!

It took over an hour to check in a half hour after the check in time we were given. The type of room we booked was not available. Instead of a one bedroom suite we were given an efficiency. We are waiting for a refund for the cost difference. One of the elevators dropped us a floor after jumping up and down a couple times. They did not tape off that elevator after we reported it to prevent anyone else from using it!

The proximity to the beach and town made this convenient. The staff tried very hard to be helpful when they were clearly overbooked. The room we were given was spotless and the kitchen was well supplied. We felt safe.
