Wonderful,small, family owned stay. Rooms are comfortable and clean, with upgrade mattresses. This was our second stay at this place, and we will definitely stay again if given the opportunity.

For lunch, the restaurant was not open per posted hours. For dinner, the items we ordered were not in stock, which was a little disappointing.

Plumbing in the bathroom worked but maybe could use a tuneup. The toilet would run after flushing unless you took care to reset the handle all the way to the top. In the tub, the temperature adjustment handle was stiff and hard to move, and while the shower was fine, there was some water that came through the tub spout instead of being diverted to the showerhead.

Room was very clean (especially the carpet!). Microwave and fridge were both fine (fridge was full size). The complimentary drinks were very nice, and the breakfast was good (local canteloupe in the fruit cup was excellent). The DVD player was very nice to have (we brought our own DVDs). The grounds were clean and well-maintained, especially the small strips of lawn on the property and on the sidewalk. Usually lawns don't look great but these were really in great shape.

It felt like we were at a resort! The restaurant, right there on the premises where we had our complimentary breakfast and where you could (as we did) also eat dinner and get drinks at the bar (two drinks per person were also complimentary)had a pool table, a foosball table, and a small shuffle board table. Also, they have a huge selections of DVDs which they let guests take to their rooms to watch on the dvd players. Very welcoming and helpful staff. We also enjoyed their outdoor hot tub.

Seems expensive for an older hotel.<no USB ports, old TV, Towels under-supplied <but the happily sent up more>, the dispensers for soap/shampoo et.at. were out.

Exceptional staff team, from front desk to maintenance to the restaurant/bar folks. Everyone is super friendly and very sweet. They truly make this hotel exceptional.

Breakfast was excellent! I made the Thanksgiving reservation three months in advance and, I asked for the same room we stayed in last year, because of it's location. The room had not been reserved for us when we arrived but when I made the request in person the staff was happy to acquiesce. 😄

The hot tub wasn't working this trip. Which was a bummer since we had young children that wanted to swim over the Thanksgiving weekend. No other complaints.

My family has stayed at the O'Cairns several times. The cook to order breakfast is amazing! The breakfast room turns into a comfortable bar in the evening. I was grateful for the 2 free drinks per person each night of our stay.

I wish I could've gotten a ground-floor room (I have knee problems), as they don't have an elevator to the second story. But the desk clerk offered to help me with my suitcase. I didn't think to request a ground-floor room, so that's on me!

The complimentary hot, cooked-to-order breakfast was great, with many selections available to tailor it to your personal taste. Our server got our order out promptly and kept our beverages refilled without being asked. If you wanted name-brand alcohol (rather than well drinks), you could use both of your free drink chips to get one (I only wanted one drink anyway). The bed was very comfortable. The blackout curtains on the windows worked well. The property was older but meticulously maintained and family-run. I'd stay here again if I found myself in the area. Really enjoyed my stay.
