Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Although the exercise is good walking the 3 flights can be a bit much. A few more modern items can be added to the kitchens, sheets and comforters. The bath towels were always available but are very small :) Due to covid there is no maid staff but they do come by every morning to ask if you need cleaning
This place is a great location with a short 2 block walk to the boardwalk, beach and all activities. Owners are on site so they were always available and very kind and accommodating. There is no elevator so that needs to be noted. We were on the third floor. The rooms are out dated with good enough to stay comfortably. The pool is big and there is a diving board that the kids enjoyed. The sign says pool closes at 8pm but many a night they allowed the kids to continue to swim.

Couldn’t access WiFi in our room, mattress and pillows were hard and uncomfortable, AC unit ran the entire time and was very noisy, toilet paper was the thinnest I have ever seen, no housekeeping (short staffed) we got our own replacement towels from the office,

The mattress in our room was brutal. Bring your own pillow. But we always bring our own pillows so we didn’t have that problem.

Friendliest staff. The place is older but I like the nostalgia. I haven’t stayed there in many years and had many great memories staying there as a kid. It’s pretty much the same. Great location, would stay again.

The bathtub was clogged upon arrival , repairs had to be completed two days during our stay. Water then leaked to room underneath us. Bathroom Floors were painted and started coming off in pieces on our feet creating a mess all over room floors. TV had very bad signal breaking up in blocks and message to call provider continuously appeared on screen.

One group of people was basically allowed to take over the motel for the weekend, using all the grills blasting music outside the rooms all day long with no regard to any other guests.

The rooms were quite small & I even got a suite. Personally think it was not worth the price I paid. It wasnt very clean either. When I first walked in there was a dead fly on the floor along with food crumbs. Fridge was also dirty & inside the drawers. Could only stay a weekend tops. Probably wouldnt stay again.
Great outside sitting area. Loved the deck & picnic area with the grills available! Some games for the lids to play & pool area was super spacious.

The beds are a little bit old but it's down the shore and people don't really care about how they treat stuff but definitely need new pillows

The 'suite ' that I paid for washing a single room with 1 end table and lamp.The king size bed was a queen size.The air conditioner was a window unit that wouldn't go below 72°.The microwave sat on top of the refrigerator.Both appliances and the tv were plugged into a power strip.(electrical code violation ).The 2 chairs on outside deck where 16" from the railing,( fire code violation ).The room and bath needed a better cleaning,( not just a quickie wipe down ).
