Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesWe had some trouble with our key cards at first but that got sorted out. We would have appreciated housekeeping service. We do understand, however, that hotels don’t always offer it now due to the pandemic.
We were very comfortable in our room (king suite with couch) and were very pleased to have a view of the ocean. We also appreciated the continental breakfast - a very nice touch. In addition, the rate was extremely reasonable. We look forward to staying at Carmel Inn and Suites again!

United StatesThe bed was hard and there was gap under the door that could be easily fixed so critters could not come in. The parking lot is small and tight however this is common in Carmel and there is street parking.
It was cozy and the location was very convenient to a lot of the restaurants and stores in Carmel. I loved the gardening around the motel. They gave us a continental breakfast at our doorstep. The water in the shower had good pressure and warmed up quickly. It was a nice and quiet place to stay.
