Every time I stay here I say it’s near perfection but I wish you left chocolates like the Ritz does with nighttime turndown! 🤎 The only other issue we had this time is you were VERY busy with some film conference & there were never any servers at the pool like there normally are so both days we had to call room service to have delivery at the pool which at first they resisted but we said there are NO servers at the pool as there should be to place an order.

Didn’t get great service in the lobby lounge due to a big wedding party overtaking the space between ceremony and reception. Not sure the hotel staff could have done anything different, but when you pay these rates, serving yourself by taking your own order to the bar is disappointing.

Spectacular location, wonderful staff, terrific amenities, and everything we’ve come to expect from this property.

Nothing. It was perfect!

The location is unbeatable. I had a terrace room with direct views of the ocean. The rooms are beautiful as well. Spacious, light and extreme comfortable. The bed was so high there was a little step to get up! The on-site spa was another bonus. I had an amazing facial - perfect way to start my trip after an 11 hour flight.

Pool too small

Pool & pool area is really small. It comes in pictures across way bigger than it is. And on weekends almost impossible to find a place to sit. And one can not swim in the pool, way to small for that.

We booked a room that had breakfast "included". Breakfast included meant we had a credit at the restaurant that is open to the public. We each ordered one dish, one coffee and one juice - which didn't feel like a particularly egregious order. Our breakfast credit came to 60% of the bill. So I'm not sure breakfast "included" is particularly accurate. In fairness, as its a public restaurant the quality is higher than a "hotel breakfast" but something to be aware of. Value: the rate was as described and seemed to be in line with other similar quality hotels in LA, but I really don't understand why LA prices are as they are versus similar cities!

Hotel room was lovely ("one of the best designed rooms we've stayed in" according to my interior designer wife) The hotel has a car service which you can use to get to local dinner reservations etc which is a great touch Gym is well-equipped for a hotel gym (albeit very american-style - lots of free weights, less weight machines)

Noise at the pool. I realize it’s hard but families with young children should be reminded that others are trying to relax when kids are shrieking in the pool.

Kitchen is clearly understaffed, there was lots of space at the restaurant but we had to wait 30 min to get a table for breakfast, very slow as well for dinner despite having enough waiters so clearly the issue is in the kitchen, good food though
