There was a very bad odour in the apartment particularly bad after being shut up. Only when windows open was it better! The apartment is very tired . The water pressure and hot water were not too good either. We had a double bed with king size sheets and pillow cases that were also too large for the pillows . The lass at the front desk on arrival could have been more friendly.

Someone in the next room or above us smoked weed a lot and it would drift into our room. Even with doors and windows closed, we could still smell it

Quiet convenient and right on the beach!! Views were spectacular and could watch whales off my lanai! If this was where I was going to live in Waikiki this would be the place. Mahalo

New mattress in the room creaked every time you rolled over, got to be a pain but did not keep me from sleeping. We were there 5 nights and one night there was outside noise in the early morning. Not sure if that was a singular occurrence or if it happens more frequently.

Super location, right on Waikiki beach and Ft. DeRussy. Tons of restaurants, cafes and shopping, both souvenirs and groceries, ever a Starbucks right next door. Kind of expensive but that is Hawaii, not a function of the hotel. Front desk was very helpful.

I didn't like that the access was from the outside on balconys with railing slats 5 in apart. I don't like heights so much and walking out on the balcony on the 12th floor... Yikes. Would have preferred indoor access but the whole building was the width of one condo. Another drawback was there isn't a pool onsite.

The location was right on the beach, all of our rooms had an ocean view. It was amazing. The park view had a good view of the city and peek of the ocean too. The condo was clean but somewhat old in furnishings. It was serviceable, had a full kitchen and microwave. The staff was very friendly. It was also with in walking distance to a lot of shops and restaurants.

Location is the best on Waikiki beach as located in the middle of the beach. No pool but you really dont need one as the beach is right below the condos and a few mins walk to Hilton Lagoon. Close to shops and restaurants. Booked 2 one bedroom deluxe ocean view suite for a family of 7 this was perfect for us all our group included elderly and teens had so much space and everything you needed full equipped kitchen, washing machine and dryer one room had two single beds and pullout sofa and the other queen with pullout sofa. Had both units on top floor level 14 perfect view from both balconys especially watching the Hilton Friday fireworks. We all loved our stay it was home away from home.

The lady at the reception on arrival was in a bad mood. Not our problem so try to be nice, we paid a load of money.

Renovations to reception were a little inconvenient, but no real problem, but bitterly disappointed that our last day was spoiled by a neighbouring guest who was unable to understand that this was a non-smoking area, with no designated smoking areas.

Castle Waikiki Shore Beachfront Condominiums are right on Waikiki Beach and just steps away from restaurants and Waikiki's malls. Unobstructed views across Fort de Russey Park to the beach, ocean and sunsets made this an outstanding location.

We are Ok with the dated aspects of the unit as it adds to the charm, but the kitchen cabinets didn't operate well. This needs some attention.

The location is stellar. Our unit was a great value, albeit a little dated. We loved the view of the park and could see the fireworks through the trees.

The pigeons roosting on the lanai. This can be a problem everywhere but there has to be some way to discourage roosting.

The location is the best in Waikiki in our opinion. The Beach Walk neighbourhood is just a little out of the hustle and bustle of the main tourist strip while being within easy walking distance of everything. This was our third stay and all apartments were clean, comfortable, nicely decorated with a washer/dyer. The beach is great for snorkelling and swimming. The Steak Shack downstairs and Koa Oasis beach bar made it easy to enjoy good food and tropical cocktails on our doorstep.
