Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThis isn’t really the hotels fault (at least I don’t think it is) but there was a women screaming at 2:30am then again at 4am. It was a bit scary. Also, the room phone doesn’t tell you what to press to call front desk.
The staff was amazing, quick with requests. I loved the beach chair/towel/umbrella concept. They also add a water! It’s super close to the beach.

United KingdomThe noise from the bar but luckily it closed at 11am and the noise disappeared then. Phew!
The location was great. Loved being so close to the beach. The hotel has a great vibe. Only thing was it was noisy but luckily the bar closed at 11pm and the noise went straight down at that point. An alarm/siren went off early this morning around 0600 - not sure where it came from and I don't think it was from the hotel but it was close by. It kept us awake from 0600am!

United States of AmericaThe one down thing is the beach situation.. ugh. It’s so close to the beach, and it’s so nice because Faena hotel is next to it as well, you’d think it would be amazing if they had the same lounge chairs there.. but no, you get your own little portable chair and bring it yourself to the beach. CASA FAENA, common! Figure it out and make it happen!
I love the fact that hotel was the first home for where Faena hotels started.. and it goes back to 1928 now its one of the historical hotels of america. it has a cool vibe, the Faena fragrance all over the hotel gives extra touch. Double room was great, apart of crows in the morning chirping under the windows which was annoying but couldnt do anything about it. A lot of people saying music is too loud, well, i didnt hear a thing, but maybe because i was staying at the end of the building, because rooftop is upfront of the building.

United States of Americawould be nice to have coffee/breakfast in the main patio or small snack menu. Crema next door was in the other Faena complex and a short walk, and I understand they can't offer staffing and pricing at that rate if they offer food out of hours.
Beautiful boutique hotel, super friendly staff with a positive attitude. Was warned my room would get very loud at night but I was out for 3 out of 4 nights so only noticed the noise and music level on one night, which was a lot. But frankly it was only 1 hr of my time in bed and because of the great rate they offer, I understand why my room was perhaps cheaper than it should have been.

United States of AmericaA few things that discourage me to come back to this location: - sink is in the room instead of the bathroom - advertized as “beach service” where they give you a beach chair for you to carry yourself to the beach, which I find unacceptable for a 4-star hotel how they about be. - the front desk called me 2-3 times asking for a second payment where I paid half of my stay already, which I find tasteless.
Great location, party vibes because of the Gitano downstairs. The room was spacious, spotless. The staff is friendly but can use a little bit more training. Experience of the beautiful design and art deco architecture.

United States of AmericaGreat location and value! We were happy about our room and staff was really friendly and helpful. The only one minus - they have restaurant/club on the first floor and rooftop that can be really noisy at night with lots of club music. If y it someone who likes to go sleep early - it can be a challenge, since the music will go in until midnight. Otherwise it’s a great place to stay!

United States of AmericaAwful service at the bar. Served food to outside guests but not to hotel guests (bc they were friends of the chef). Room smelled like mold. No decoration at all. Not even a chair. Sink outside the bathroom. Looked extremely dated - especially vs the wow lobby. No real sunbeds. They provide foldable chairs to sit on the public beach.

United States of AmericaI stayed at Casa Faena for only one night of my 5 day vacation. I was looking forward to experience the hotel and the Faena District. The Hotel itself is a part of the "National Register of Historic Places", so it is definitely older and a bit dated in some ways, but that is part of the charm! I upgraded my room to a balcony suite (Room 20) and it was very large in size! Decorated with a comfortable, Mediterranean vibe. Bed was firm but not uncomfortable. Loved the double french doors and flowy curtains to my balcony. I slept with the doors open! The staff assisted me when needed but definitely noticed some short comings and lack of communication between the staff. The hotel is a quick block away from the beach and the hotel offers an umbrella and folding chairs, towels and water to take with you. It was in a very quiet, clean and relaxing part of the beach. I did not utilize the hotel restaurant or the bar during my stay so I cannot comment on that. I explored the pretty rooftop bar but it wasn't open for use. There is also no hotel pool. I did enjoy my stay as it was only one night and I would consider staying here again for the value and reasonable price point.

NorwayThe staff did not, prior to our stay, warn us that there would be a party at the roof-top on a Sunday evening. Our room was right below the roof, and just next to the stairs. Hence, it was like staying in the middle of the party. The noise was extreme. Our entire room was shaking all night. A heads up would be nice. Some of the staff tried to be helpful, but not all of the staff. The next day they offered us to change rooms. This room was better (and there was no party the other nights), however, it was also extremely poorly sound-isolated, and we could hear people talking outside, walking etc.. In both rooms the shower was broken, and therefor difficult to use, and the beds were uncomfortable.
