This is an Okay hotel, good enough for a night - go at the game or at the concert and call it a night! Front desk ladies super accommodating and welcoming. Sheets were clean, and yes the rooms smell like cigarettes but please… this is Detroit! Keep your expectations in the same level of the money you pay. I would definitely go back again. Close to the places I wanted to visit The 1st room I was given wasn’t clean but the quickly gave me another room better room service sucks had to ask for everything stayed for 3 days not one time did they clean my room

The hotel is a little old and in need of some updates. My room was clean, and it met all of my needs for one night.

The staff were amazing!! Very accommodating, especially the front desk. The location was close to all the sporting events which was great.

Noise from other guests was extremely loud and lasted all night. The bathrooms have sliding doors that thump loudly if you're not careful, and that noise plus the talking in neighboring rooms and hallways carries a lot. Bring earplugs and it'd be great

Marijuana smoking being done inside rooms making hallways & adjoining rooms on the floors smell - same strong smell when coming in door from handicapped parking area that's adjacent to the hotel lobby - supposed to be non smoking facility, that isn't being enforced we had to go out & purchase plug in air fresheners . On arrival Our bath-room sink had dried cleaner squirted in it and left to dry & not properly cleaned.

We did not like the fact that the housekeepers never came to our suite to clean up and provide new toiletries for the duration of our 3 nights stay. Towels were not changed, the suite was not cleaned until we checked out. 👎🏾

Bad location, abandoned buildings with homeless people and parking lot is not really made for rental trucks. Hotel could have been cleaner and could not close curtains to keep light out floors were still wet from being cleaned

All was I expected from other reviews except for the breakfast. By 7 am, the eggs were gone and no more were available and the other choices were scarce.

Our room smelled like cheap weed and made my daughter's allergies go crazy! And the lobby had a huge cockroach in it. The price was high for this quality. Not sure how to change rating. Was not 5 stars... maybe a 3.5 brought up by the shuttle service, comfy bed and good breakfast and staff.

Staff was helpful, breakfast was good (fried eggs, sausage, waffle) , the shuttle driver, Rich, was prompt and friendly and reached by personal cell phone and dropped us off at Little Caesar's arena and picked us up afterward, that saved us money on parking in a lot and walking downtown.

Price was still a little steeper than I would normally go for. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Makeshift sliding barn door was well built but didn't close all the way for privacy. Was a non smoking facility except the strong pot smell.

The floors were dirty, The hallways smelled like sewer/skunk. The breakfast was very limited and hardly anything put out yet when we went down after 8 am, and what was out was cold. The lady bringing food out was mostly on her phone and standing around while people were looking for food.

The front desk staff and shuttle drivers were very friendly. The bed was comfortable
