some little details not so perfect--had to go after towels and TP rather than room being made up while we were out for breakfast. We paid extra to have the room early, but took them 10 minutes or more to unlock the bathroom door so we could use it.

Check-in was friendly and easy. Plenty of parking spots in front of the rooms. The room had lots of light and was clean. The bathroom and the big shower, spacious enough for two people was clean and the water was hot. The bed was very comfortable.

We forgot to put the do not disturb sign up, and room service tried to enter at about 9am while we were asleep. Didn't hear them knock, they would've opened the door if the security lock hadn't been latched. Bathroom door was a sliding frosted glass door like for a shower, which was funny because you could sort of see through it, not a big problem though.

Room was nice, included a coffee maker, bed was comfortable. Check-in and check-out were easy.

The shower curtain didn't keep the shower water from getting all over the bathroom floor even with a towel down. It either needed to be longer or they need some sort of lip at the edge of the shower to keep the water in. The coffee pot in the room needed to be clean a little better and descaled. I didn't utilize the coffee because of this.

The room was clean, bed was comfortable, parking lot was easily accessible, pool area was nice and the staff was friendly and helpful. The lobby and the landscaping around the facility were clean and nice looking. It was also nice and quiet at night, no disturbances.

Old wooden furniture in the bedrooms, varnish sticky in some parts as happens with old wooden furniture. Thin walls, could hear people coming and going. Also need bigger car spaces as unfortunately our brand new car got dented and scratched on the door by the neighbouring car when they left before us in the morning.

Very clean, easy to get to, great location to Monterey, rooms well equipped, coffee, microwave, fridge in the rooms, huge bathrooms, powerful hot shower.

The closet is next to impossible to use. I am small so I could squeeze between the furniture and the closet and twist around to hang clothes. The bathroom has no heat and so is cold in the mornings. Staff is not always available.

Very clean. First staff member was lovely: welcoming, helpful, efficient and very nice. 2nd staff member not. Small but comfortable room, updated. I requested no stairs and an end unit and was given those things. Appreciated that. Location is great! The shopping center is in walking distance.

Our room was very small, the photos on the websites are definitely a misrepresentation of the actual room we were in. I booked through booking.com and it said continental breakfast was included, it was not. We were told they haven’t had it since 2019. My confirmation stated breakfast included. The hotel sends lots of emails and texts prior to and during your stay. The woman at the front desk actually called the phone in our room at 9pm to ask how everything was. I was excessive, and 9 pm is a late time to recieve a call for alot of people.

Honestly the motel itself was great. Unfortunately late arriving guests loud talking guests and early departing guests were all quite boisterous in their pursuits awaking me several times through the night. There’s nothing the motel can do about that.

Was given a 'garden view' room - this overlooked trees and a road and was downstairs - felt a little like a basement. Whilst it was a quiet location would not have appreciated its position if had stayed longer than the 1 night.
