Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

This is really finding fault with something that a large majority of people wouldn't notice. The pillow were all to soft for me. Usually I bring our own but since it was a spur of the moment thing and only for 1 night we didn't bring pillows. The breakfast could have had more fruit than just apples. The muffins might have been just a tad bit stale
I don't know how old this property is but it looks like it's new or recently renovated. Extremely clean. Very quiet. Nice breakfast. TV and provider were very good no issues at all. Fresh coffee available 24 hours a day. Shower and towels exceeded my expectations

I could not control the temperature, it was very cold.
Room was very comfortable and clean, they gave me a handicapped room and I just had surgery so accommodation was needed.

Everything was great.
Very Clean. Good breakfast. Nice pool area. Located on the same road as outlets, restaurants, and go carts. Five minutes from Rehoboth Beach shuttle.

The room itself never got cold. The thermometer read 60 degrees though it did not feel that way at all.
The location is great. Next to shops and grocery stores, and 10 min drive to the beach.

When checking in women at front desk was very pleasant with the person in front of me but when it was my turn she changed her tone and wasn’t pleasant towards me, not sure why but otherwise this place was nice.

The pool was a bit dirty and the shower nozzle wasn't ideal. The water came out weird making it harder to rinse hair/body. The coffee at breakfast was very weak.
The room was clean, the staff was nice and the breakfast was delicious. The waffle maker was a big hit with our group.

The carpet in our room was really dirty. We had to have shoes on at all times. I didn’t like that room service was around 9-10am. We were on vacation and sometimes slept in. The door had a really loud creak. If I didn’t have an 11 month old, these items probably wouldn’t have bother me as much.
I liked the location. Many things were in walking distance and the beach was just a short drive.

The room itself was poorly maintained. A mix of renovated and old together. There were red stains on the tub, the wood was chipped on the base of the tv stand, and the carpet looked really dark. Just wasn't in the best shape. I didn't feel comfortable having the kids play on the floor. I've seen worst but it wasn't the best. I would come back without kids.
Everything was fine. Food and staff were great.
