You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The prior liked part
The .ain question on here is what did I think of the breakfast, at the booking sites I searched, it claimed this place has breakfast, they simply did not. It's not that I couldn't find it, I specifically asked, after doing research that claimed they did, and they told me that they do not serve breakfast. We did like the pool and the coziness.

The hotel description needs updated - the pool is not heated and there is no breakfast. I tried putting my 10 month old in the pool but it was so cold that she cried. I expected there was no breakfast but I thought there would at least be a microwave and (working) refrigerator in the room but there was not. We had a refrigerator but it did not work. The property is old and in need of some maintenance. The air conditioner on our room was leaking water outside and a bucket had to be emptied so we didn’t step in a puddle of water. The light switch near our door was broke so the light near the door didn’t work. The hour and minute buttons on the alarm clock were broke so we couldn’t correct the time. There are loose pieces of (I think) concrete all over the pool area.
The location of the hotel is fantastic. It is right by all the shops and a quick walk to the port for the ferry. It was clean enough that I let my baby crawl around on the floor in our room. The room was very spacious and there was plenty of room to set up a pack n play, have all our luggage laying around, and for the baby to play on the floor.

It’s a little outdated. Room had a smell, but we bought febreeze and sprayed the room down so it was tolerable. A few update (carpet, shower head, etc) would go a long way.
Very convenient location close to everything. It said breakfast was available but we were never told where that was. The lobby was limited and we didn’t see a dining area. We walked everywhere.

There is no Breakfast and Drinking Water. Towels are quite old. No Fridge in the room. Bathroom amenities.
Very good location. Center of the city and you can walk from hotel to Mackinac Island ferry dock. Ferry Discount Price for Hotel Guests. Warm water pool.

I was on a business trip , very hard to expense a report with no receipts? this place has no computers its all written on on cards? I needed a itemized receipt they said they don't have that? so confusing that this is a business and cant provide a customer with proof they were there.

The light above the sink was not working properly. Flashing high and low, buzzing. When I called they said they would replace it if they had another one there but not sure if they did, very nice though. Since I was just staying one night I just turned it off. Room was a bit worn.
