It was tuff to travel down the the shops etc do to the rebuilding of a walkway made it very inconvenient

The staff was amazing, they had plenty to do to keep you occupied for The entire stay. Feeding the deer was over the top fun for me

It’s a little outdated, the room was missing some small touches to be excellent and every service was a surcharge. They gave us a map but didn’t explain anything else, we had to find out everything on our own (which ended up being fun but I would rather have all the information). Food was ok.

We staid in the Apple of Eden room, with private pool (surprisingly not too small) and sauna and we loved it. It definitely had a vibe. The amenities at the resort were fun and nice (main pool, lake, game room, bar, small bowling alley). Personnel fun and nice. Immerse in nature, we saw many deer!

I didn't like that the nightclub wasn't open for dancing.

I like the fireplace, the bed the jacuzzi, the dining area, the game room, real romantic place.

That the room had no windows. And we didn’t like that the game area did not stay open late and the were no vending machines for late night snacks as we are late night folks

The dinner entertainment was excellent and the photographer was great too. The indoor game area was fun and I really enjoyed the jewelry hunt on the property. We stayed in our room most of the time and enjoyed the jacuzzi and pool.

Our coffee maker was nasty but they brought us a brand new one promptly! Also while they have a few new activities I was disappointed that a lot of the indoor activities they used to have are no longer like indoor archery and racketball. You can’t win tokens at the arcade games to use at the store anymore.

Absolutely loved the heart shaped Jacuzzi in our room, the musician and magician were very entertaining. Yummy drinks and we booked a massage which was amazing and super relaxing! The food was excellent as always! And super friendly staff!

the place is very old, you can feel it in some ways,

the only place with bed, pool, jacuzzi tub, fire place and sauna privet in room, the shop is worth to check out, we enjoyed the bowling and hockey table, arcades etc. great costumer service, nice grounds outside,

The restaurant food was good, but nothing to write home about. It had snowed during our stay and some of the roadways and walks weren't as well salted/cleared off as we would have liked. Also the room had no windows, which I assume was for privacy but it made it hard to gauge the time of day when waking up in the morning!

The room was fantastic, and QUIET! Sure it looks a bit dated in spots but the pool, hot tub and round bed were just so much fun. Staff was quite lovely, Dennis the server was a trip! Check-in and out was fairly painless. Lots of activities too.

Dinner wasn't so good. While salad bar and dessert were delicious, soup (seafood bisque & french onion) were not good and Entree was mediocre at best.

Room was in need of repairs. Cracks around pool tiles(possible tripping hazard). Smoke damage on roof of room above fireplace.

The property needs an update, but the retro feel was still fine.

The suites were huge and clean, breakfast buffet was varied and plentiful, the dinning and bar staff were great. Entertainment was good. Dinner was good.. you should include at least 1 dinner at the resort.

Check-in was atrocious & multiple other guests got refunds and left! We arrived at 3:33 (check-in is 3:30), waited in line for about half an hour for 3 couples ahead of us, got checked in and told our room wasn't ready. We went to Spooners (bar) and waited until 5 pm and still hear nothing. We went back to the lobby because we had a booked dinner reservation for 6pm (if you don't make the time you don't eat), we argued with the manager and got a room key at 5:50. We drove for 4 hours and had been hoping to shower and change for dinner but that definitely couldn't happen. I requested a refund on the Paradise Package that I bought for the inconvenience, they did that but never brought the package! On our 3rd day I went to the office and asked where our package is and the CSR made a phone call and someone brought me a bag with the contents that were supposed to be set up in our room for our anniversary.

The food is absolutely wonderful, especially dinner. The room was spacious and warm & we loved having a private pool & spa tub. Buffet style breakfast with make your own waffle - perfect. Also, I absolutely love feeding the deer!

My ONLY complaint was that the robes, cake and wine I ordered for the room almost a week in advance, was not delivered to the room until 3hrs after we arrived and we even arrived an hour after the 3:30 check-in. We had to wait to use the pool and hot tub so we could answer the door when they arrived. Killed the mood alittle but overall still very enjoyable stay.

The location was great! In the heart of nature, deer all around, and great views.
