Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaFront desk staff (young lady with glasses) was rude and non-accommodating. We stayed 2 night and neither of our two rooms was cleaned/made by the housekeeping staff.

United KingdomThe bunk bed was quite wobbly, and I had to make my bed while the lady below was asleep at 9:00 pm. Not an easy job to undo a code lock quietly on a metal locker to access all items allocated to me. Made up beds would help to reduce disturbing others in the room. Bathroom light automatically started a noisy fan.
We were delighted to snatch some of the last remaining beds before the eclypse morning. And the only choice was separated dorm beds, but the added kitchen use and little lounge, open access at all time made it OK. Reception staff did their best at that busy evening, and we met lovely folk in the common area. Towels and toiletries were safely stored in a personal locker.

BrazilThe towels are disgusting. But you can solve this by buying some at Walmart.
My family and I were randomly traveling around the USA and we decided to go to Mesa Verde. Compared to prices in the Aspen area, the Durango Motel seemed too good to be true. We still decided to take the risk, despite all the negative comments we saw on the internet. I believe these are problems with the previous administration. There may still be rooms that need renovation, but what we got was good, as was the Wi-Fi signal. So we decided to stay another 2 nights. The receptionists were extremely friendly and helpful.

United States of AmericaAfter we got home we realized two days after we checked out they charged us for another night stay. We were long gone by this time. We have tried for 3 days to make contact with the manager, named Joe, but he hasn't bothered to call us back. Can someone from Booking.com please reach out to us to see if you can help with this? UPDATE: The motel has called us and refunded this. Joe was a really nice guy and assured us it was a system glitch. WOULD DEFINITELY CONSIDER STAYING HERE AGAIN!
No complaints on the room

United States of AmericaThe cleanliness
The room was comfortable and clean. Maybe turn or flip the mattress more. I like that it was secure. And maybe smoker polls so folks don’t through down butts. Love the tables and chairs by the creek.

Relatively central in town with good access to restaurants and shops within walking distance, spacious rooms with good parking facilities, staff are very friendly and helpful especially Zoe, thank you all.

United States of AmericaI was on a top bunk and the beds are a metal frame with small square bars for a ladder to get up and down. The bars were so small it hurt to go up and was even more difficult to go down. The bathroom I had definitely had a musty smell which is usually sewage, so the plumbing needs major work. Also the bathroom still doesn't have any hooks or shelving in it as someone else pointed out in a review, makes it difficult to use the shower. The small trash can in my room was overflowing when I got there. I was there for two nights and the room hadn't been touched by any cleaning staff during that time. It's not a huge deal but the ice maker in the communal refrigerator does not work and the ice tray is dirty. No privacy curtain for the bunks.
The location is fine, Durango's small so if you have a car anywhere is good. The mattress I had was much nicer than I expected. The AC in the room worked well.

United States of AmericaThey are in the midst of remodeling, so we gave grace for that.. the beds were not comfy, and the bathroom was not nice at all. The pool was dirty, but I skimmed it so the kids had fun! The pool was not in a good spot. It was right on the road. Maybe a nice privacy fence.
I liked not having carpet..nice new flooring..the staff was super nice.
