The beds were "full sized". My mistake but I thought they were queen beds. My husband and I were not comfortable on that small bed. My pet was included in the booking.com reservation, but they ended up charging me an additional $20.00 the next morning, because they said they didn't know about my medium sized dog. "They don't look at the booking.com reservation and it was on US to mention it at check-in." It was after 11pm at night. We were tired from travel.

The free continental breakfast was fine. The room was clean. The location was good.

Personally I would have liked a more secure place to wash my clothes. The location at the moment feels very inviting to my clothes being taken in the middle of a cycle.

It seems to me that the building is old and has seen its fair share of guests and issues. However, it’s clear to me the owners and staff work very hard to kept everything clean and continuously renovate and enhance the quality.

There was no comfortable chair in the corner (plenty of space for it). There was no luggage rack. No option of queen beds. The colors/style seemed dated.

We were fortunate enough to get a ground level room. Did not see an elevator and that would have been a problem for use if an upstairs room was required due to occupancy.

Breakfast was adequate, not outstanding. We were caught enroute by rain and darkness and were thankful for a place to wait for weather improvement and daylight to continue travel.

The parking situation wasn't real great. Was in a tractor trailer truck. Had to park across the highway and run across it to get to hotel. Wish there had been parking for big trucks on same side of hotel.

The room! The bedding was dirty. It hadn't been changed and the person at the front desk argued with us about it. He demanded to see the bed and when he did he said that he would send someone to change the sheets. The lady who came with the clean sheets set them on top of the dirty ones. I had to tell her not to do that. My husband and i even helped her change the sheets. We never got an apology and we were never offered a discount. The toilet and the shower didn't work properly either. I would recommend staying somewhere else!

We didn't stick around to find out. The room was disgusting so we left early.

The owner is very rude he knows that there is only one other hotel in the whole place we went there for a federal and because we didn’t want to pay an extra $10 for the next day Stay the owner tried to put us out I had to call and refund my money that guy is terrible I would not recommend staying there not as long as he’s the owner.

The experience with the owner!

The owner got mad because I did not want to pay his rate due to it being $10.00 cheaper online. After I allowed him to cancel my reversion from online the first three days due to my credit cards not working before arriving. Turns out my credit card did not think it was me making the charges, so they denied the charges until I was actually there to use the card physically. So to make things a little more easier I paid in cash the first three days. I was not told by the property I would be paying a different rate before arriving, after I allowed the property to cancel my online arrangement. So that was disappointing! Today would have been check out but I also informed the owner that we may stay a day or two longer, so today I went into pay for another day the owner got mad because he wanted to charge $123.20 when I could pay for the room for $110 online so I paid for the room online and he got so mad he asked me to leave. I’m here in Fordyce Arkansas. Please understand this is a small town where there is not many options ( I’m so willing to upload a photo of the other hotel he kept referring us to I would not let my dogs stay there). All of this because I did not want to pay an extra $10.20 and he ended up charging that to my credit card without my consent. That’s crazy. Here because a family member passed away. No one should have to deal with something like that just because this owner knows this is the best place to stay here doesn’t give him the right to be NASTY 🤮!

The check-in process was poor. The room was, at first glance, ok. But once inside the room had a funky smoke smell, the floors were sticky, the bathroom was nasty, the shower did not work in one of my rooms and the other room had a constant stream of water running all through the night.

Management was horrible and unaccommodating when we check into the first room which was located in the back of the hotel which I ask to be put in the front he stated that he did not have anything else, only on the first 2nd floor, I decided to go in the back but to my dislike the floors was nasty and sticky the beds look like it was thrown together and the pillows look like cotton balls was put in it (very flimsy) bed was hard and it had a smile. The 2nd room the chair at the table was filthy, it was stain, the TV wasn't working the they strip that was on the floor going to the back room was pulled up with nails and my 82 year old Mother tripped and I do have evidence of all of this. Not Happy With The Service:(

I did not eat the breakfast due to checking out earlier due to Management was horrible, but the location was good.

Well, the faucet in the shower wouldn’t shut off after I was finished showering. Broken handle or something. And the ironing board wouldn’t stay up. It was kinda funny, but I expected more.
