Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The elevators were very slow. I think there was only 1 working out of 2 elevators. Didn’t like that it didn’t have a private balcony.
Room was Clean and staff very nice. Bed was comfy.

A bit outdated. But clean
Good value, clean room with microwave and refrigerator. Good coffee and juice in the lobby. Nice indoor pool. Staff was nice. Great stores and restaurants near by.

Parking was not the greatest and made me skeptical of driving anywhere. At least standard size bed pillows would be appreciated and make sleeping much more comfortable.
Although some updating would help, the room was clean and had a great view. The front desk staff was polite and friendly throughout our stay.

The building itself is showing it's age and should be rehabbed . Probably expensive but maybe a little at a time.The paint on the balcony is peeling badly. The hallway rug is shabby. The bathroom needs to be updated/refreshed, all signs of aging. Also no soap in the shower dispenser and no tissues.
Had oceanfront room with balcony which was lovely. Found our room to be clean. The room fees were low, probably because of the age. Staff were very nice.

It’s supposed to be a smoke free hotel. But I couldn’t go out on the balcony most nights because of the smell of cannabis was strong it completely ruined the experience. I have my 9 year old daughter and we love the sound of the ocean and watching the waves crash on the shore. But we enjoying it from the comfort of the rooms balcony was next to impossible some nights.
The staff was amazing. The hotel was clean, my daughter loved the pool, the location was great, ocean front and plenty of stores and restaurants within walking distance.

The safe boxes weren't working due to them getting ready to upgrade them but should have kept them in working order until they were actually taking them out. Tht after 3 years the breakfast buffet n restaurant r not open yet.

Our room had repair work being done with splotches on the walls and paint needed. The beds were pretty soft, giving both of us sore backs. Had to lay flat to make it better. Otherwise, the room was pretty decent.

Limited parking spots. It was Easter weekend and spring break for a lot of areas so that probably why parking was limited
Location was great and right on the ocean! Shops and restaurants right out the front lobby and walkable.

Only real complaint the indoor pool doesn't have steps, only metal ladders.
Had a comfortable stay. Is a basic hotel room but was clean. Right on the boardwalk. Many shops and places to eat within walking distance. Will stay here again.

Internet was super slow and coffee was mediocre haha
Nice and quiet, convenient to everything. Pool was a little chilly for adults but the kids were thrilled. Clean, great views.

Room could use some updates. It was not the cleanest! The bed sheets and pillowcases had stains, there were crumbs in the blankets, dust on every light fixture. The shower did not drain very well and when someone would shower there was a puddle all through the bathroom. The TV would go in and out of color. The area surrounding the pool was gross and peeling cement so it was a tripping hazard! My kids hated the wifi it's terrible, so I got to listen to them complain and get mad when everything would lag or turn off.
The VIEW! Steps away from the beach, boardwalk and Atlantic Ave where everything is! The beds were comfortable.

Staff were extremely accommodating. Stayed during Shamrock Marathon when parking lot was blocked. Staff flexed the check out to allow to a later time to allow us to hang around until allowed to leave.
