Although the beds were comfortable, there were kind of two things about the room I thought could have been improved. First, I really struggled with the down in the room - both pillows and duvet cover - as I am allergic and it causes me fairly severe headaches; the staff did bring me a down alternative pillow, but I still had some problems as it was also in the duvet cover. Secondly, it was SO hot that we couldn't comfortably sleep. They have a heating system they use for the winter in which you can't really cool the room down, other than turning it off completely, which makes it stuffy. We could only open the window a sliver which helped, but it was still very uncomfortable for us. I know Minneapolis is cold enough to warrant that for most of the winter, but given that it wasn't that cold while we were there we would have liked to have the room cooler. Other than the room, the only other "negative" about the stay was the breakfast. It cost $18/person for what is essentially a continental breakfast - eggs, cereals, prepackaged muffins, etc. Probably not worth it overall unless you're desperate.

The staff was wonderful, they were all very friendly, and I really appreciated getting an allergy-conscious cookie at check-in (that's the first time that's ever happened so normally I don't get one!). The location was great with lots of restaurants and a grocery store across the street. The room was clean, quiet, and fairly comfortable.

I am not satisfied with the customer service of the people in the Lobi, the cookies they give you when you arrive are delicious. The bed is very comfortable but the pillows could be higher so you don't have to use two at the same time.

In our room, it was impossible to change the temperature. We stayed there at the start of July, and could not cool off the room, but they must have known this as the room came with a box fan, too.

No pet friendly walking areas. Too much goose poop and dog poop not cleaned up. Too many rocks to get to the grass for dogs. No servers for the restaurant.

I didn't like the balcony being inside the property they dont make that clear when you book and the maid was being rude because I asked for a couple things. The microwave had to be brought up and put in the room because they forgot it.

I had to get a new room key twice for my one night stay and they aren’t the magnetized cards so it wasn’t my phone deactivating it. Was also in a room right next to the housekeeping closet, was woken up very early to a lot of yelling and laughing which was quite frustrating. Would hope that the staff would be more aware of guests.

Room rate was very high for a standard room. Due to an event nearby, available hotel room rates seemed to be inflated. Restaurant had limited hours and wasn’t open at the times I would have utilized it.
