Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaWe didn’t find the hotel check-in staff terribly friendly but the staff in the ski rental and bar made up for this by having excellent hospitality skills. I think the restaurant should be open later than 9 pm and at least mention this on the website.
The location was perfect for our stay. We were less than a 5 minute drive to Lionshead gondola. The rooms were a little dated but clean and comfortable, and the hotel was quiet. We were very impressed with the ski rental (inside the hotel) which made for easy access and returns. They also offered a discount to hotel guests. The bar was also very nice and kid friendly. The bar restaurant and Indian restaurant both close at 9 pm which is something to think about if you arrive late. The hotel has parking both outside and a garage option. Breakfast is free - pasties and coffee plus around 4 pm they brought out warm cookies.

United States of AmericaNo real control of the HVAC for the room. It was warm a couple of times and had to open the window / which worked okay. The place is very dated in all areas and could use a refresh.
Location was really good. I had a Mountain View which was exceptional.

United States of AmericaSubpar value for the cost, outdated design, pungent foul scent in the lounge, and limited breakfast options.
Proximity to multiple ski lifts and town centers, proximity to a bus stop, cheapest option within Vail during New Year's, decent hot tub and sauna, comfortable room, two sinks, free parking, and friendly staff.

United States of AmericaWe understood we had non-cancellable reservations, but due to I-70 road closure due to snow storm we could not get there for 2 of our 4 nights. It would have been nice of them to comp one of the nights since the situation was outside of our control. There were most likely folks stuck there that could not get out so they could have potentially double dipped on the room.
Evergreen had free lite breakfast food. Relatively close to the bus stop. Hotel was quiet and had a decent indoor hot tub. Free parking.

United States of AmericaPerhaps use different cleaning chemicals. Something with a more pleasant scent. It smells more like commercial, heavy duty, cleaning, pine solvents. When combined with the restaurant odors, ……we’ll, it could be better.

United States of AmericaNothing other than an overly sugary pastry for breakfast. The bar downstairs wasn't enticing and the restaurant closed every time I tried to go.
Only halfway reasonably priced place to stay in Vail. The rooms are just fine and the hot tub / sauna are good. It's *almost* in the village - the shuttle can pick you up behind the hospital next door.

United States of AmericaThat I got constant reminders of how dog unfriendly this facility was. I didn't even feel my son could stop by with his dog (who is a therapy dog not a service dog) for fear we would be charged a $500 penalty or had a misdemeanor charge filed.

United States of AmericaThis hotel needs renovations…..YESTERDAY. Walking into this hotel is like a time capsule into the 70s and not really in a good way. Like others have said, for approx $400/night you would think there would be central AC…we stayed towards the end of Summer and night time was cool. We weren’t very overheated but I have trouble regulating my temps when I am sleeping and did find some points in the night where I was uncomfortable. There was a fan in the room and it was effective for cooling. Channels on the TV didn’t really work. Carpets felt gross under bare feet…like I said it doesn’t seem like anything has been updated here in decades. Beds very uncomfortable and firm.
We liked the proximity of this hotel to the main part of town, very walkable (within a mile). We were in town for one night for a concert at the amphitheater. This hotel room served its purpose for that. Sheets appeared clean. Pool and restaurant areas were very nice with mountain views even though we didn’t get to use the pool or try the restaurants. Have heard good things about the Indian restaurant in the building!! Staff was very friendly, kind and helpful and are the main reason I’m writing the review. In our short stay the staff here were excellent.
