Close to the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the Griffith Observatory. The lady at the front desk was very friendly. For one night in LA it's fine.

They don’t have coffee maker or kettle for hot water, you have to go out, so no coffee in the morning

In fairness, room Is clean, old bed and no blanket but heater is working so it’s ok, washroom is newly renovated, it’s very good.

The neighborhood was quite sketchy and didn’t feel safe. Although it’s on Sunset boulevard it’s still far from most tourist spots.

The blankets they had were so thin & even though it's LA, it's still pretty cold so warmer blankets would have been nice. Also, as a janitor myself, please look in ALL nooks and crannies when cleaning, after sleeping in a bed, imagine my horror finding an unopened condom packet on the side of my bed. Also, the metal fixtures in the bathroom were all rusted, which didn't look appealing and the window sill was all dirty and chipped. I get that you get what you paid for, but a nice little paint job and proper wipe down would have been appreciated.

It was quiet, no loud neighbors & quick check in-check out. Good walking distance from Hollywood Walk of Fame. Decent food choices and 10 minute walk away from a massive Target.

There was no duvet on the bed, just a sheet and thin cover, not sufficient for winter. Road noise was a pain but common in this area.

Basic, but clean budget room with fridge. Staff were helpful and location is handy for several shops and the right side of town to Universal Studios.

Stay 3 times in two weeks but this last time we were there the room was terrible , the bed was rock hard and sloped in the middle , there was no mirror in the living area and the only one to get ready in was the bathroom mirror which was steamed up all the time , the room was and freezing so had to put the extremely noisy heater on all night just to get warmth !Disappointing considering the previous 2 stays

Close to Universal Studios, Warner Bros Studio, Paramount Studios, and the Highway. The rooms were nice, clean, and cosy, perfect for my 3 kids and I.

Towels were all dirty, sheets were also not that clean with some spots on it. Tub had several places on it were the coating was rubbed off exposing the wood underneath.

Good location close to Hollywood Walk of Fame and universal studios. Check in was easy and parking was safe.

Unique smell in the room and a few bugs floating about in the room.

Great location for walking to the strip. During the day you do see a few homeless but we had no trouble. Also very close to a tube station. Walked from the tube station after universal studios visit, couple of sketchy characters but we felt fine walking back. Compared to the cost of other hotels, this place was value for money

I was a little nervous about staying here due to the neighborhood and due to the fact that it's about 10 minutes walk from the metro stop Hollywood/ Western. Los angeles has a serious homelessness problem and occasionally you do come across individuals who are obviously disturbed. However, it was not as if there were huge numbers of such people around the accommodation and so in terms of safety it was ok. The plumbing was very noisy and so if someone next door used the shower or flushed the toilet when I was asleep it was very loud. They did not clean my room while I was there but for three nights that was ok.

For Los Angeles, where accommodation is very expensive and even harder to find if you don't have a car and need access to public transport, this accommodation was good value. It was clean and the room was quite large by European standards. There is a heater/air-conditioning and it can get a little chilly at night in Los Angeles in early November but they kindly provided me with an extra blanket.

There was no kettle available, even to borrow at the reception desk, which was very surprising to me as European  :D

The room was spacious and clean. There were towels, a bit of soap and shampoo, and even a small fridge. All the essentials for an overnight stay.
