Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesBeds could use a refresh and sheets seemed to be short sheeted !
Size of room is amazing especially if you have outdoor gear. Common area is nice for games and coffee in the am. Great access to Deschutes River trails.

United StatesWe didn't see anything that needed to be changed as we enjoyed everything about our stay at LOGE. We are looking forward to returning again when we have more time to spend in Bend.
We loved the friendly staff and location. The layout of the property was also great. We enjoyed making s'mores each night and the fire pits provided. We also enjoyed the hot cocoa, coffee, and tea- along with their assortment of games and books.

United StatesHot water was almost nonexistent while showering, thin walls. Fan was broken in bathroom and internet on TV did not work most of the time, had trouble connecting to the WiFi.
Great location, hot tub was nice! Love the trails right behind the space.

United StatesBed was a little firm
Property was well maintained and had cute amenities. Rooms do in fact have a bike rack, boot warmers/dryers, and a hammock. You can rent equipment and they have a cafe that serves coffee, beer, and wine. They were VERY dog friendly and it made our stay perfect. The location was slightly out of town but right along a paved path that you can walk/bike into town if you wanted, we drove. Staff were helpful and kind. All around a great spot!

United StatesCould use a good handyman on site with attention to detail, and the bed was super comfortable and “felt” very clean and crisp but here were quite a few long hairs in and around, they seem a bit understaffed, it’s a mountain outdoors setting not a Manhattan high-rise so it’s right up our alley
Perfect location on the edge of Bend, great outdoors atmosphere, close to everything but super chill

United StatesI wish the pool hours were longer. We usually like to try out the pools when we travel.
This is a great place that is set up to please skiers and bike riders. Everything you could think of for those travelers. We were neither but enjoyed the room and grounds a great deal. We traveled with our dog and grand-daughter and both were happy there. The dog had woods behind our room to roam (on leash) and our G-daughter had a hammock in the room to relax in. The lobby has a nice selection of drinks and snacks. With games and tables for visiting.

United StatesThe sheets, pillows and bedding weren't clean. We found strands of unknown hair and also found a tiny spider on the bed. But we understand it's an older facility so we push through and brushed it off and slept through the night. We spoke to the front desk the following morning and they were understanding and accommodating and quickly switch out to new sheets and bedding for us.
Love the location, how it's close to town and can enjoy outdoor activities for biking, snowboarding, hiking etc. nearby Love that it's less than 30 minutes away from Mt. Bachelor! There were many trails and outdoor activities we can do nearby. Love the fact that it's near town but it has an outdoor far away from town feeling that you get when you are out and about camping. The decor in the rooms were great! Sitting in the hammock that is connected to the ceiling was a bonus!! Great that there is bike racks in the room so you can store them inside. Absolutely love the concept of Loge.

United StatesMisleading full service coffee shop. Machine could not operate because “ there is not sufficient plumbing for milk products to be run through the septic” ???? So they have a fancy machine for the advertisement but not a working machine? Heck, the could probably put a bar sink for under $500. Breakfast pastry case was completely empty at 9am on a Saturday. The worker said she called but their supplier didn’t show up??? Painted over chrome faucets in black?? It was chipped and ridiculous. Huge gap in door that caused the room to be very cold 20 F causing the room AC/Heater to run continuously at 85 just not to freeze! Cute, but seriously they need to clean up their act. Such a cute place lace with so much potential but $150 a night. I also saw strange people using the wifi in the “cafe” living out of their cars?
Good location. Near to town and to trails.
