Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomTwo minor niggles; the first was the noise coming from the next room specifically they television which was on really loud, coupled with the noise coming from the corridor by people going to and coming from their respective rooms. I would like a little more soundproofing, personally speaking - but it wasn’t as if I was planning to spend all of my time in my room. The second issue was with the hotel Wi-Fi because I had to sit near the main door in order to get a signal. Again, I wasn’t planning to spend all of my time in my room but when you are checking up on your activity plans on your phone or tablet, you really need a reliable signal so that you know where you need to go and when you need to be there.
This was my first time staying at the Excalibur, although I have visited it before on previous trips to Vegas. I found the hotel easy to navigate around and everything clearly marked and labelled. I also appreciated the space available, within the rooms and within the facilities of the resort. My room was large and comfortable, the beds were very conducive to a good night sleep. The bathroom was a good one, with good pressure from the shower and was kept spotlessly clean by the housekeeping team. The desk staff are friendly and courteous, as were the floor staff in the casino and in the various shops and bars that I visited, particularly the Starbucks concession. One thing I did miss, and I’m sure it’s available online, is a hotel directory in hardcopy. I know it costs a lot to maintain hardcopies in binders or smart folders, but it’s something I like to have when staying in ahotel.

CanadaNoisy AC. Noisy air purifyer. Wifi so slow you can t do anything. IT support did not solve the issue. It s a phone number you call but they dont do nothing.
Room was average clean. Plenty of towels and sheets were clean. AC noisy. Air purifyer worse than AC. No mini fridge. No coffee in the room. Very minimal services. Everything on premises is 3 times more expensive than off strip. I called IT support and never solved the issue. Wifi was 5 times slower than the slow phone data we get in the rooms. Not worth the money they ask for the fees. TV was an antique 720p blurry and pixelized. If you want a room to sleep it s a good sleep for the buck.

United States of AmericaThe staff would harass us every day trying to scam us into things we didn’t need. Or when it came to checking in they were beyond rude.
The knights tournament was cool. Being able to store luggage before check in was nice so we could explore for a bit after a early flight

United States of AmericaThe shower!! The floor of the shower was so slick that I fell down the first day I was here. I hit my head on the back wall, hit my arm on the shampoo container on the wall, hit my leg and foot on the shower door and railing on the floor. Got several bumps and bruises. Had a headache and pain! There needs to be some type of nonslip stickers on the floor. I had to put towels down in the shower just so I wouldn't slip. When I asked the front desk about it, I was told that I had to ask for something for the shower floor. That doesn't seem right! Ruined my first day.
Hotel in general was good. Loved the ice cream store and the Tap food was good. Pool was nice.

United States of AmericaThe worse part is the check in process. Long line and each check in took about 7-10 minutes. This process needs to be improved and could’ve been more efficient.
The room is very big and clean. The gym and the pool are also pleasant. The location is excellent! Although Excalibur is an older hotel on the strip, but they maintain it well and is worth the money.

United States of AmericaThe first room we were in had wet carpet spots- we got a room switch but no comps or anything- just pee smelling socks for my husband. Yay. The pool closed at 5.. not cool man.. can't they have a later night for adults there were frigging crotch gobblins everywhere? More chairs would have been nice poolside too.
Pool was nice. Tournament of kings was neat. Good location on the strip. Friendly employees. Good price.

SlovakiaVery unpleasant parking experience. Despite our reservation in advance, we were not notified upon arrival, nor was it properly explained to us what the difference is between "self parking" and parking with special staff. Unfortunately, we found out after a few days that a completely different rate applies to it. So we paid for parking almost 100% more money than at check-in. In short, we had to pay for it separately... This is very NEGATIVE! Beware of this, the hotel does not point this out when you pay for accommodation and parking. An additional fee is required from you when you pick up the car...

AustraliaMain complaint was we were charged $USD35 per room x 2 as we left with explanation from hotel being that it was due to us going thru 3RD party agent (Booking.com)…that really blew the price out on what was seemingly a great deal. Must have been in the very fine print of booking.com as otherwise would have seen it. Not sure why Booking.com wouldn’t include it in the standard rate advertised ???
Location and access to lobby, rooms and Ubers was all very good. Rooms were good, a little dated but did the job. The view of the hotel is excellent from outside due to the way the towers are lit up 👍

United States of AmericaThe property is just kind of dirty and unkept. Pieces of loose toilet paper in the hallways, etc. It is a well - worn place and while an update might not be possible, a little more energy on keeping it a bit more clean always helps.
I had a conference at the Mandalay Bay hotel but that hotel and the hotels immediately connected were all sold out (The Hotel, and Luxor). I was a last minute attendee and so chose the Excalibur - it was also a very inexpensive option. The hotel was as expected, its a discount, lower budget place - so you know you are going to get. But I really liked the online checkin, digital key card and of course the express tram to the Mandalay. It was perfect really.

United States of AmericaRoom was ‘clean’ but run down. Sink caulking coming off dirty and gross, shower wasn’t rinsed out well, soap still on the floor, which I slipped on. Soap and lotion dispensers empty. Sofa in the room was rough. Cushions were dirty, stained. Didn’t feel comfortable to sit on.
Proximity to the strip and the cost. Response time of staff when there was an issue. Came in a timely manner and were quick and pleasant.
