Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Big, clean and comfortable room. The staff were lovely. Small but usable fitness centre with good selection of machines and weights. In summer the roof terrace would be amazing.

United StatesCheck is was tedious: they could not find my full reservation (via booking.com) for two rooms and I was waiting in the lobby for over 30 minutes before they could clear it up. They could have handled it better. For instance, when whatever system you use to manage your day to day operations isn't working the way it should, i don't care why... all I want is my room. Give me what I want and then figure out what to fix on your own time, not mine.
easy to find, location worked well for us. rooms were nice enough. price was competitive, but cheaper thru third party than it was direct thru hotel.

CanadaThe pillows and pillow covers in our room smelled stale and as if there was lingering sweat on them. I asked for the pillows and covers to be changed. I told the front desk staff and they told me they would get housekeeping to change the sheets and pillows. I am not sure if they changed the pillows or just the pillow covers. I noticed a change for the better after returning to our room in the evening but my husband still felt there was an odour. He thought the pillows should have been completely replaced. Also, with a king bed, the size of the pillows were small, more like pillows for a double bed.
The location was great. The breakfast was good. The room was quiet. Staff were very attentive.

Zillah B, the front desk person on night shift, is an angel. She was very kind and helpful. She made our stay much better. The room size was decent. Beds were made every day. Breakfast has good varieties. Getting an Uber was very easy.

United StatesThe price was extremely high for the single night we were there, and we learned only after we arrived that we should have booked parking ahead--we ended up paying quite a bit to park in a garage about a quarter mile away.
Convenient to the Brooklyn Museum of Art and Park Slope neighborhood, though the hotel's location is on the edge of a less attractive area. Staff were fantastic and the room was clean and comfortable.
