I didn't like the room decor..too. bright. I can live with that for one night. The room was handicapped accessible however I would have liked a counter in the bathroom for cosmetics, toothbrush, etc .

Breakfast was typical fairfield food...adequate. The bed was excellent and so was the location. Staff was polite and helpful.

I was way upset cause when I booked online it said 110.00 that was after taxes nut then when I got there and paid it was 140.00

Have a roll in shower and a vanity around sink. Floor was slippery, and I was in a handicapped room. Beds need to be lowered.Add a Vertical grab bar by toilet.

When I booked the rooms, I was basing my booking on the online descriptions that claimed one room slept 5 adults and one room slept 4 adults because we did, indeed, have 9 adults who needed to sleep in these two rooms. The room described as sleeping 5 had only two queen beds and no pull-out sofa. We got a rollaway bed for that room (which also had such a strong offensive odor—like dirty gym socks—that we bought room freshener to try to make it bearable). The second room was described as sleeping 4 adults but it had one king bed and a loveseat-sized pullout bed so it only slept 3. We used our own inflatable mattress for that room. We also only had two washcloths and three towels in that room.

The breakfast was good and the location was literally perfect for our wedding event. The front desk attendant was GREAT! He was so friendly and welcoming and tried to help us solve our crowded room conditions. The motel was surprisingly quiet for how many kids were there for a football tournament.

Breakfast was ... meh. Frozen food, likely from big corporate distributer, microwave re-heated. Rubbery eggs. Coffee was a little thin. Good thing I am not a big breakfast eater.

Very very quiet room. Extremely comfortable bed. We slept very well.

Cleanliness of the room. Also the check out time being 12pm instead of 10am, helped to not feel rushed to leave in the morning, especially after a long day of driving.

The bathroom in the original room meant for wheelchair access had no counter, just a sink. In other words there was no place to set down things like a makeup kit in this room's bathroom. The other rooms all had counters I believed. Ask which kind of room you will get at reservation time. Also they should add personal safes where needed.

Loved that they cheerfully moved us from a room meant to be used by a person that needed the extra space in the bathroom to navigate from a wheelchair. It was apparently the only room for us when we checked in late, but we were moved the next night. All this during the Iowa State fair when they were 100% booked some nights.

Service and cleanliness of halls and elevator. They tried to charge me double for my room and it took an excessive amount of time to try to fix it and I'm not sure it's even fixed yet or not because my credit card company still says they charged me more than what I was supposed to be billed for. Not happy wasting time on trying to get mistakes fixed and staff gave me a business card for management that no longer works there.

The pullout sofa was really only a single and with 2 kids it was a little tight.

Carpet in room has just started splitting at a seam. Not a big deal now, but will need attention soon.

The staff was very friendly and professional. We arrived at 10 pm and left about 5:30 am the next day so did not get to enjoy the buffet or any of the other amenities. But the rooms were clean, the beds were very comfortable.

Just some very small things. The TV wasn’t situated somewhere where it was easily seen from the sofa bed. It could be turned so it was visible, though. It would have helped if the hair dryer would be hung up somewhere in the bathroom. I thought there wasn’t one until I saw the bag in the entry closet with the hair dryer in it. I also was expecting a clock, but because there was a night stand nearby where I recharged my phone, I was able to use my phone to keep track of time. Finally, I was scared to use the pool at first because the glass roof was leaking from excess snow, but after that issue resolved itself, I felt comfortable using the pool.

There was a gas station and some fast food restaurants that you could walk across the parking lot to get to. You didn’t have to mess with getting in a car to find something to eat or to find a gas station to fill up the gas tank The breakfast host was diligent about keeping the breakfast bar stocked and cleaning around the bar and wiping down the tables once guests left. The Belgian waffles were great. They are more practical than the pancake machines or waffle griddles I have run into at other accommodations. All you had to do was pop one in a toaster, and you had a terrific tasting waffle. I enjoyed having an indoor pool to go to. It was nice and warm, and there were plenty of towels available. I also was impressed there was a lift option for individuals with physical disabilities. I know someone who might appreciate that a lodging facility would have that available.
