Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Unfortunately, the refrigerator was broken during our stay and we had somethings that needed to be in there.

No breakfast. Kind of beat up, but everything clean and comfortable, and the bath worked. NICE heating system! Great parking. Very convenient location.

I didn't like the fact that there were little tiny bugs that kept coming up of of the sink drain.
I liked the majority of everything that it offered and the location of my room as well.

The motel is on a big main street. The window has to be kept open because of ventilation. There is strong noise during the night.
It's just a 5-8 min walk from the central bus stop. The staff at the reception is friendly. The room size and cleanliness are OK for its price.

Thin walls so can hear what's going on next door, but they had to listen to us too so.. lol..
Clean rooms, 5 minute walk from downtown and ferry. Right on the main road, and our room was towards the front so a little traffic noise, but otherwise no problems.

There were 2 punch marks in our bathroom door & another in the wall. Our floor was also very dirty upon arrival, we couldn’t walk on it in our bare feet. This establishment could use some TLC.
The bed was comfy & sheets were clean. We were given a corner room, Room 107, so we couldn’t hear very much of the highway traffic or anyone in the surrounding rooms. There was a microwave, refrigerator & coffee maker, so we were able to grab food at the nearby Safeway & save some $$.

The noise from the road could be a problem if one wanted to sleep in.
Easy to get to once exiting the ferry terminal. Although the motel is dated it had everything we needed.

The staff was very accommodating when I needed to upsize my room. I was also running late for checking it, but they were more than understanding and it was greatly appreciated.

Internet was slow and dropped out too often. Fan heater on front of room very loud and drowned out the tv. Fan or draining water sound at rear of room came on occasionally and very loud and annoying! Tenat above me was up most of the night walking around, running bath water?, banging sounds.
Room was comfortable and seemed clean. Location close to food and drink! Good selection of movie/programs on tv.

Because there are no air conditioners, the birds made it super noisy for sleeping with only the fans in the windows.
The location was super convenient. We arrived on the ferry and it was so close and easy to find.

Why was I put on the second floor with a family above me? The Internet kept throwing me off even though it said I was signed in okay. Too much furniture in room.

The coffee cups should be replaced with paper instead of thermocole
The water pressure was excellent for shower. Location was great to drive to hurricane ridge. Lot of restaurants close by.

The bathroom had no fan. The bathroom door was warped from water at the bottom and didn’t fully close. Most important, though, the main door and locks need upgrading. We did not feel that secure sleeping there with such a flimsy door.
The front office person was very nice. I appreciated the 3rd floor room when I asked for a more quiet spot. Bed was clean and comfortable. Room was a good size.

The weather was hot and the lack of AC did not help. Only one window could open so we could not get a cross breeze going.
The beds were comfortable. No AC, but the three fans helped. The TV was awesome. They were willing to accomodate me when I said I might arrive late.
