The room is in need of refurbishment. There are no mirrors, internet, or cable TV due to reported water damage. The walls require repainting and repair of holes. Additionally, a new bed mattress is required.

The fact that you have to be on the 5th floor to really get a decent ocean view. That you can't see it at night because there is no option to turn the balcony light off and that it is partly obstructed by the hotel behind it and that there was no toaster so that I could make a bagel in the morning & had to buy them at Ocean City resort prices. That's it.

I absolutely loved going to sleep to the sound of the waves crashing on the shore every night and how INCREDIBLY FRIENDLY and accommodating the ENTIRE FRONT DESK STAFF were. They were simply AMAZING! I really cannot say enough about them. I also loved waking up to the beautiful view of the ocean over my balcony every morning. It was the best sleep I have ever had. I woke up feeling so rested and relaxed every morning. Words do not do it justice. Can I just say one more time ❤️ MANAGEMENT!!! They know who the three of them are. I talked to one of them for almost an hour the day I turned in my key. Turns out we are both transplants from the other side of the bridge and miss the safer days. That's just a little shout out to her& her husband personally so they will know exactly who wrote this. Ms. "Little 🇮🇹 ".

There was no wifi. When we called and asked about it she said it's only been working in certain spots throughout the motel but didn't know where and several other people had complained about it as well. The front door to the room was not as secure as we would like. The secondary lock was non existent and if you bumped the handle wrong it opened. You could also see between the door and the frame and feel the wind coming through. Most of lights in the room didn't work properly.

Location was great! The staff at check in and checkout were great too.

It did not have a coffee maker and the refrigerator wouldn’t stay shut. And there should have been like a tunnel or something to get to the inside pool from tower 1

We like thin pillows. The bed pillows were very thick.

The room should have been vacuumed. There was sand on the floor when we arrived and it was never vacuumed.

I was a bit apprehensive about coming here based on other people’s negative reviews but I had a good experience. It was clean, beds were comfortable, and shower was hot. It’s less than a block from the beach, across the street is a water park, small food market, pizza place open late, and Cycle city that rents bicycles. It’s an easy 20 minute bike ride to downtown. Nothing major to complain about. Overall I’d say it’s a decent motel. It seems expensive for what you get but if you compare prices it’s actually pretty average.

They don't offer breakfast and they don't have a coffee maker in the room, but Walmart sells a $10 coffee maker about 15 minutes away so we grabbed one and food for the beach the first night. Location is excellent! Walking distance to Hegins seafood and basically ocean front. Just a basic hotel but clean and reasonably priced. This is our go-to hotel for the past 5 years.

No Do Not Disturb signs, outlets were old and you couldn't plug anything in without it falling out so it was hard to charge phones and use any device requiring electric.

All was pretty great, except the floors. First time across the floor without shoes and my feet were black with dirt. Extremely concerning with a child who plays on the floor.

The floors were super filthy, very sticky and Sandy like they never get cleaned at all! Walking From the shower to the bed made our feet filthy black which was not comfortable!
