To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaHotel was in a great location. I stayed for a concert at the Dickies Arena and it was so close! It's also very close to a Walmart and Target and many good restaurants. The hotel was very clean and organized. Check in was easy. My privacy was respected. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be coming back!

My daughter & I visited her children in Fort Worth & want a hotel with an indoor pool & hot tub close to shopping & restaurants. Fairfield seemed to fit the bill perfectly per the photos of the property. We got there to find there was No hot tub but the pool is heated! So that helped to fulfill our wants.

I called the front desk and they said they were full and couldn't get a remote from another room. Told me to unplug it. I couldn't reach the wall plug, disconnected at the transformer, and it was still lit up, had to drape towels over it to be able to sleep. No hot water in the shower

United States of AmericaI went through booking.com and got a reservation for 3 nights. I give the counter my card and next thing I know, I’m charged more than double the rate. I try to resolve this with them and they say they fixed it and everything is good but in reality nothing had changed. I don’t know how on earth they managed to double my rate without my knowledge but it’s unacceptable and the fact that I’m not getting any real help is rubbing salt in the wound.
