I don't have a bad thing to say.

Beautifully kept up boutique Inn and very nice common areas, Breakfast was exceptional with opportunity with a nice selection or various coffees. Service was met all expectations. Rooms were clean and well kept and attention to details. Liked having a code verses a key entry.

The beds were ok but a little too soft and had a bit of roll together in the middle.

Excellent location and perfect for what we were looking for - close to ski resorts and great restaurants in town within walking distance. Nice hot tub for after a day on the slopes.

Very cozy and homey. Clean and the staff is just exceptional. The hot tub was very clean and much needed after a day in the cold. The rooms were like staying at a favorite aunt’s place. The location is perfect.

As far as I could tell there was no central air conditioning in the Inn , but there was a portable air conditioner in our room.

    It was delicious ❣️

    I can't think of anything.

The staff was super friendly without being intrusive. The corner king bedroom with a porch had all the privacy we like, and a wonderful porch for relaxing in the summer days and nights. The Inn provides a superior level of quality.

Only 2 minor notes: While there are not too many weeks per year that you would notice it, there is no air conditioning. My room was a little warm when I arrived on a sunny afternoon in September, but opening the windows and night and closing byte shades during the day when I wasn’t there did the trick. I would guess that October thru May, this would not be an issue at all. Second, they are somewhat fastidious when it comes to seating times for breakfast and for their afternoon “aperativo” time (happy hour with free tapas). This seems to be driven by the quality they set for the food and how it’s served (plated well and hot right when you sit down). But it’s a little odd to have to commit to a specific time when you’ll have a relaxing glass of wine at the end of the day of enjoying the mountains (“we have 5:15 or 5:45 but not 5:30”). Given all the great qualities of this place, that’s a minor complaint that I can easily let slide. And to be fair, I get the sense that even if one showed up late/early, they’d still accommodate you with a smile.

What a fantastic place to stay in Frisco! Sometimes words like “quaint” or “charming” are used as euphemisms for less desirable traits like small, old or unprofessional. Not in this case! This is a traditional Bed & Breakfast, the likes of which one can hardly find anymore. The good is excellent and the chefs pay great attention to detail, presentation and timing. The rooms are very comfortable and feature smartTVs, modern mattresses, linens and the pillows come in two different firmness levels. From the outside it looks like a small country inn (and the vibe reflects that on the inside, even though there are quite a few rooms. The service is very personal (with the one minor exception of using a digital kiosk to order your breakfast the night before), and the common spaces are quite cozy and lend to the feeling that this is your own personal mountain retreat with a top-notch chef serving you. Separate indoor and outdoor hot tubs are a surprising addition. A couple of the rooms on the first floor have porches which are worth the price upgrade. I stayed in the off-season (September) but it was pretty fully booked, yet it never felt crowded, and I even felt like I got to know the other guests, which is so very rare these days. It’s an experience the likes of which I’ve only really ever had at B&B’s in the countryside in Europe. Such a find!

It is very dated. The beds were fine for a single occupant. Not sure how they would be with 2 people

The staff said you can ask for anything with help during the stay. No elevator, we could have used help with suitcase to second floor room. It would have been nice for them to offer; we were distracted by checking in and the beautiful B&B layout. Breakfast was good, mentioned fresh fruit at the breakfast bar but none there. Tapas not flavorful; chili missing spices/salt?

Staff helpful. Nicely decorated, felt like you were back in time, though updated. Nice respite. Located 1-2 streets off Main Street. Bike riding very close by through neighborhoods and a bike trail close by without pedestrians. Plenty of restaurants around. Baked cookies at check-in counter, hot coffee around the corner all day. Games, chess, DVD's and books in living room area. 2 clean hot tubs (indoor and 1 outdoor). Roomy bathrooms though you cannot see them on the website pictures. Well kept destination, attention to every detail.

Nothing. The stay at the Frisco Inn was truly a surprise in so many ways as mentioned above. In fact we extended our stay an extra day so as to enjoy the hospitality at the Frisco Inn on Galena.

The location was perfect. Quiet corner street location near to main street and many restaurants etc. The entire staff made you feel like family. The owner, Bruce was a joy to speak with and an interesting person with vast experiences in life. The main chef, Patrick belongs in a 5 star restaurant. Each morning and afternoon the daily specials were extremely imaginative and delicious. The "Jack of All Trades", Avery, was one of the most pleasant individuals to be with. He was truly interested in making sure that your stay at the Frisco Inn was the most pleasant and enjoyable experience that you can have. He truly enjoyed helping you with personal attention both in the Frisco Inn and with advice of the local area. The services available such as a coffee bar, a spa with massage services, a playroom with pool table, indoor and outdoor jacuzzis, sitting room with hundreds of DVD's to view in your room were more than was available at 5 star hotel. Put all of these factors together with the personal attention of the entire staff and you will truly have the best possible travel experience ever. We are retired airline people who have traveled the world. This little Frisco Inn at the Galena has truly outshined many world class hotels that we have been familiar with in our professional life, hands down. We will definitely be back in the future.
