I wish there was more of a kitchen in our room. It would have nice if both sides of the king bed we easier to get past. One of the sides closest to the wall were hard to get out of standing up without leaning on the wall.

There's an indoor heated pool and hot tub open until 10pm! The view from the room was pretty good for in the side of the building. The gym had a nice variety of machines.

The hotel itself was just mediocre. The decorations in the room looked half done like the tile on the floor in the bathroom didn’t extend all the way under the toilet, the wallpaper in the bedroom was peeling, the fixtures in the bathroom were rusty…. There were rarely clean towels available at the pool with the “towel return” bins overflowing from used towels. We also did not find the room particularly clean. There was black hair all over the shower door and floor. No housekeeping service came during our stay even though we were gone from the room from 9am-4pm. Just littles things about the hotel didn’t meet the expectation we had for the stay.

The location was perfect, right across from the beach and walkable to down town. There was views of the ocean from all over the hotel and plenty of outdoor seating and space to enjoy. The indoor pool gave us something to do when the weather was rainy.

Everything was amazing except my room did not have air conditioner and was 79 to 82 degrees. I was provided with a fan. When intent to the front desk, the next morning, they switched me to a different room immediately. It was an inconvenience for sure, but handled quickly and very professionally. I would absolutely stay there again.

Every time we've been at the Grand there has been a party, wedding or some kind of event that creates extra noise, whether on the elevator or there is a band or DJ where the music can be heard throughout the hotel.

We've stayed here at least 3 times. The rooms are nice and the location can't be beat.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own coffee pods (good idea) but there was no milk to purchase in gif5 shop.

Pool was clean and well maintain. Whole property was well maintained. Never seemed crowded. I had a problem with in room frío that was resolved quickly while I was out of the room.

We reserved a handicapped accessible room. My husband has difficulty walking and, from the car to our room, had only the option of walking a bit too far and go up steps, which were more painful than a flat path, or walking up a long ramp, which made a very long distance between the car and the room. In addition, the toilet was supposed to "comfort" height, according to ADA standards, but the one in our handicapped accessible room was standard height (too low) and thus was very uncomfortable for someone with back pain and replaced knees that don't fully bend.

Property was clearly updated recently and was aesthetically pleasing. Bed was comfortable. Room was roomy.

Restaurant and pool were closed when we were there but they did send us a message to let us know. Shame we couldn't even get a pastry for breakfast though. Water pressure in the shower was poor.

Beds are firm, and water pressure in the shower is light. If you like to get the shampoo out of your hair, the water pressure in the shower is a drip, and doesn’t get your hair clean.

When I made the reservation I ask for two queen size beds and the beds were size full, and it was three of us. So the sleeping was uncomfortable.

I’ve stayed at The Grand before. The location is accessible to the parts of Cape May I want to visit. Hemingway’s is a wonderful restaurant. Service is exceptional and the food is delicious. Our room was spacious with a king bed and the pull out sofa bed. We had a balcony with a side view of the ocean.

The layout to get from one part of the hotel to another was a little unfriendly. The elevator is outside only. It is February. Coming from the pool/hot tub was a little crazy. Other than that, it was a very relaxing and nice weekend.

The floors in the room were dirty. Like they needed to be mopped once in a while. Wish they offered room service. TV could have been bigger. More electric outlets in main room.

The only very small complaint we had is that the room was cold all through the night no matter how much we increased the temperature on the thermostat. Luckily we always bring an extra blanket when we travel. This would not deter us from staying here again.

This was our first time staying at this hotel. We were very pleased with the room. It was very clean and comfortable with a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot. It was unfortunate that the weather was very cold and ir rained during our stay so we couldn't walk around Cape May but we will definitely stay here again.
