눇Manuel on reception was amazing. We toured around the west coast (starting and finishing in Vegas) and the suite in the Grand Sierra was one of the best we had. The view (top floor) was lovely, decor tasteful and the bed was very comfortable.

눉On my second morning at the hotel, the elevator on the 26th floor attempted to scare me to death. I entered the elevator and pressed the C button. The doors closed and then the elevator dropped several floors. The lights went off. Sadly the creepy elevator music stayed on. I was extremely grateful I did not wet myself. I hit the emergency button several times. After about 5 or 10 minutes, not sure of the time frame, the elevator reset itself and smoothly went down to C floor. I was shaken. My hands and body kept jittering. I was sure someone would care about this incident. I went to the front desk and informed a young asian woman what had transpired. She asked for my room number and then said "what do you expect?", well I expect the elevator to work and not attempt to kill me. She said we already upgraded you for $20. I was confused. What does that have to do with the fact the elevator malfunctioned. I asked her if she cared that the elevator malfunctioned? She shrugged her shoulders and asked if there was anything else. Well I guess not. So I went down to the spa because I needed a massage. I could feel the pain swelling into my neck and shoulder area and I was still jittering. At the spa they were really concerned and called security. Security informed them that they had made an "announcement" that the elevators were being tested. I was in my room on the 26th floor and did not hear an announcement. I asked why hadn't the testing schedule been posted on the elevators on each floor. The Spa person shrugged their shoulders with an I don't know motion. I scheduled two appointments 4pm for a massage and 5 pm for a facial. It was a package deal. I proceeded to have a horrific morning from nothing on my breakfast order was right 3 separate times to being kicked in the shin by a child which was not suppose to be at the jacuzzi. Manager's standing in front of the Starbucks asked how was my stay thus far.
눇When checking in I was asked if I wanted to upgrade my room for $20. The suite they gave me was beautiful. I was an extremely happy guest for my first day, then the elevator tried to kill me.
