Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.

The breakfast was mediocre. The pool was kinda dingy.
The pictures are much nicer, but the location of the property is great. The free breakfast is ok, they definitely could use some hard boiled eggs & a waffle maker. Didn't use the pool because it didn't really look inviting. It was good for the price and a one night stay. The beds were comfortable. There's a city trolly stop right at the hotel.

As one enters the property, the initial reaction is this is an older property that could use a facelift. However, the rooms are very nice, the beds are comfortable and the staff is quite helpful.
The night clerk was very welcoming when we checked in after 10:00 Saturday night, My understanding is that all the rooms have been updated and modernized as was our room. I noticed a slight mold odor so next morning Shakira and Simone, who were on the front desk, took care to make sure our room was deep cleaned and disinfected. They did a great job!

Water pressure was terrible. Breakfast was ok, but nothing fancy. Bed pillows are very small. Definitely needs some updating.
Convenient to town. Bed was comfortable. Great A/C. The grounds are beautiful with a lot of outdoor seating.

The location was great and we could park right outside the room. The Senator tree in the parking lot was a cool bonus. Magnolia avenue out the back entrance was magnificent as well as the convenience to the fountain of youth. The trolley car stopped right in the parking lot. The breakfast was nice.

Not much variety for breakfast - only one hot item which wouldn't class it has a hot breakfast.
Beautiful settings and conforting. The tolley bus stop is on the grounds.

Felt like it could have been a little cleaner. The shower and bed were clean but corners and floor were missed in places. But for the price, it was perfect.
Fantastic location and quiet even though being next to a busy road. Walkable distance to the Fort, shops and restaurants.

I would say they need to invest in some updated furniture such as chairs and little tables in the rooms. They have a fair amount of wear on them. However, everything was clean and and well stocked. For the location and the price, it can't be beat.
Breakfast Was both hot buffet and continental. It was lovely. Kitchen staff went out of their way to keep things filled and plentiful. They were outstanding! Their was comforting about pour room when we first checked in which was quickly rectified. The office staff couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating. Always fresh coffee in the lobby The hotels is one of the oldest in the historic district. It is in the heart of the historic district and close to all things historic. I love the sitting areas under the lights at night near the oldest living tree called the "Senator" which is 700 yrs old. If you like a comfortable, friendly hotel with good service on the heart of the historic district, this is the hotel for you! Did i mention its about 10 mins from Vilano Beach?? We had the best of both worlds!

Upkeep was dated and room could have been a bit cleaner. Floor had definitely not been mopped in a while. Bed was uncomfortable, hard and very squeaky due to metal bedframe under mattress.
Breakfast was ok, but for free it was great.

Trolly came through consistently and it was loud. You heard the tour guides each time. We were by Magnolia road- beautiful road, but the peacocks are LOUD. We were not in the room a lot, so it was fine- but not the place if you are looking for a quiet getaway.

Room had 2 black leather chairs that were quite worn. Door on bath is barn door type that came off track. Outside of buiding could be really nice with some upkeep and maintenance to parking lots and landscaping and bldg painting.
upgraded to a suite as I guess the other rooms were selling fast. Breakfast was well cared for and stocked. Front desk associate was well informed and efficient. Easy 15 minute walk into town.
