Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesThe cleaning crew started really early, and the two on our floor were arguing about keys and which were already cleaned. Vary loud.
The location was great, only 5 miles from DC, and all the museums. The breakfast looked good. there were too many kids, and I didn't get a chance to try it out. Across the street was McDonald's.

United StatesWe had to take an UBER to get to the metro. All UBER costs were $20-25 dollars. Then add the cost of the Metro- it may be better to be at a Hampton in that is walking distance from the Metro. The shower was either HOT or cold- very little variation

United StatesThe breakfast was really very good. The staff were extremely helpful. My luggage got left behind on my flight in, and they were super attentive to getting it back to me. I stayed here twice over the weekend with a brief break in between, and they assured me if my luggage had arrived when I was gone, they would be able to get it to me when I came back for my second stay.

United StatesTV did not work (luckily I had a book) it was late when we realized it anyways, bed was a little firm for my liking, tub is U shaped and a little slick (easy to fix with some non slip stickers), breakfast was not appealing.
Has own free parking, lots of restaurants and things nearby, easy commute to DC for tourist attractions, room was spacious and clean, complimentary shampoos etc..., fresh baked cookies were yummy (my daughter's fave thing lol.

Always nice n clean at Hampton. Beds comfortable. Location to DC for museums was excellent. Would definitely recommend it for anybody touring DC. Eateries wee close and good quality; reasonable.

United StatesIt’s not that I didn’t like it, but I have an adjustable bd at home so I can raise it at night to help with breathing. The bed was comfortable but feather pillows don’t stack well.
The hotel was so close to my family, food, and shopping. The whole staff was friendly and very easy to talk too. They made it such a nice visit-no stress.

United StatesThe way we were initially treated by the first clerk who checked us in…
When we initially arrived, we were assigned a room (by an unfriendly clerk) on the first floor that was extremely humid, and smelled strongly of mold and mildew… being very allergic to mold, I was unable to accept this room. We were then assigned to a room with a bed and pull out couch… my friend and I both have bad backs… the next day, I spoke with the hotel staff members, Joseph and Karina Re: what I had requested, and what I had experienced so far… they found us a Great room, and made the stay here very pleasant. I truly believe we would have had to leave if it had been left up to the first, admitting clerk discretion to accommodate us. Joseph and Karina are two, true Assets to this facility.. Joseph shared so much insight on how to handle transportation to my sight seeing trip.. Btw, the breakfast staff is also very nice and accommodating.

United StatesThere was absolutely nothing I didn't like about my stay here. It was really one of the most enjoyable hotel stays I've had in quite some time.
Starting with the staff at the front desk the gentleman was absolutely wonderful. They noticed I had wanted a handicap room and not only did the front desk clerk work to make sure I was able to get the room I needed because of mobility issues but the manager, an absolutely wonderful woman came out to reassure me that they would make the accommodation needed to make sure I was comfortable. Then when I came back downstairs to find out where I could get some water the gentleman at the front desk gave me two bottles and let me know that the fantastic cookies, I smelled cooking would be ready at 5 pm which I made sure to be downstairs to get. I thought the cookies were a really terrific touch along with the coffee that was still available. The parking was convenient even when I came back later in the evening from dinner. I have traveled extensively for work and personal enjoyment and found this hotel to be one of my absolute favorites for the caring consideration that everyone I encountered provided, for the great breakfast and the comfortable room and bed. I highly recommend The Hampton Alexandria and look forward to visiting that hotel again.

All was good. The breakfast was all most same every day (7 days), but good. Very like cookies after 5 pm and happy bags at morning. Feel caring!
