Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomNobody helped me with my bags up to my room. The property check in area was small but easy to locate but there was no comunal area if you did not want to be in your room besides the breakfast floor. Also, my safe kept on breaking so I did not feel my personal items were secure. And my toilet handle became loose so a few things needed maintenance. Cleaning staff came in the mid afternoon rather than the morning or midday.
My room was ready on arrival. The property is very near to streetcar stops, restaurants, shops and bourbon street. Fantastic for a first time solo traveller or a few days down in downtown New Orleans. Staff were always at the front - late night or not- and the rooms are large and comfy too!

United States of AmericaBreakfast was misleading and needs more selections.
The property is walking distance to some of the must do’s in the city. We did the hop on hop off tour and the pick up was very close to our hotel. The location is great and far enough that you are not disturbed at night.

United States of Americathe parking issue parking on the street is a real issue facial partner with one of parking garage is or something because the garage that they had that they told us to go to at night they close so you cannot even park in there so they need the partner they need to have their own parking somewhere. I actually got a ticket from parking on the street which is crazy because it was no way to park.
Everything was great about the property,

United States of AmericaThe only thing that gave me pause was none of the staff smiled except the valet.
Check in was very smooth and quick. The room was beautifully appointed and everything was very clean. The walkability of the hotel is also fantastic to the French quarter!

United States of AmericaOne morning they had turkey bacon for breakfast, who eats turkey bacon!
The location is great for visiting the French Quarter. The rooms were really good and comfortable. The breakfast was decent enough to get the day started. The only reason I rated overall a 7 is that I just expected a bit more for the price and a Hilton property. I didn't encounter any rude employees but also didn't have any "above and beyond" or super friendly encounter. Overall it was a good experience just not a great one. We stayed 2 nights at this location.

United States of AmericaCoffee in the lobby would have been a plus. But it was available around 6 in the breakfast area (even though breakfast didn’t open until 7).
Great location, just outside French quarter, block away from Canal Street, central so we could walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. Fine breakfast provided. Pet friendly. Room/suite nice and roomy for family of four. Easy and friendly luggage storage for all our bags before check-in and after check-out (our incoming flight had us in early and our outbound out later in the day). Friendly and efficient staff.

United States of AmericaSafe in room didn't work. Reported said they would fix but never showed. Shower heads both sprayed because the device to switch was broken. Beds were a little firm for us.
Check in was great, staff friendly. Valet service was really good. Glad we did it. Communicated by text and always had car in less than 7 minutes. Breakfast was good and staff worked very hard to keep things stocked. It was extremely busy.

United States of AmericaBreakfast options badly lacked fruits. We would have expected fruits among the breakfast options. All the light bulbs died on us at one time or another. A technician came 3 different times in the 6 days we were at the Hampton = way too many times for so few days. We would have expected all light bulbs were checked before we came in. Towel hangers in the bathroom were too few for 3 people. We rented the room for 3 persons. We would have expected a bathroom with enough places to hang the towels for 3 persons.
The room was very large, and since we were 3, it was really wonderful. The beds and pillows were super comfortable, and we really appreciated this after our days roaming the city. The bathroom was also large, the shower power was great, the water was instantly warm. Great showers. The hostesses in the cafeteria/breakfast area are wonderful, very helpful. We appreciated meeting them, and their help. The tech replacing dead light bulbs was wonderful too. He did his job well and fast, and also gave us tips on good vegan restaurants. He was a good resources in that area (veganism).
