upon booking through third party my reservation was messed up, luckily their next Available room was an upgrade. however my trip was targeted for the downtown area. all Ubers that direction were $52+ for a 15min drive.

The room was VERY cold. There was no blanket, just a very thin bed cover. Breakfast is awful, but it is the same in other hotels of Hampton Inn.

Close to the airport - we needed it just for one night for an early flight. The room was spacious, with coffee machine and air conditioner. They provide hygienic items.

our room, 426, was at end of hallway and I believe next to a maintenance room. the occasional whirring of somehting plus the room refrigerator kicking in and off made it a bit loud until we got the tv in and drowned it out. wasn’t huge issue, but there.

Having to ask for towels, toilet paper, etc. was odd. Also, in one room, the refrigerator froze everything. It would have been helpful to know that the room charge, which was paid in full before we departed, would be removed in a few days from our card. I was quite shocked to see a pending charge after we got home. I called, was told a general manager would get back with me, none did. The night desk worker was able to figure it out and he was correct that the charge was removed in about a week. Customers should be informed.

TV channel guide would be helpful. The cable system in all of the North Carolina hotels were strange, so this is not a particular issue with this hotel.

This hotel is within a couple miles of the airport. There are a couple of close gas stations which makes it easy to fill up before returning a rental car.

The AC unit in our room stopped working at one point and made really loud banging sounds. Other than that everything was great.

There is no reason why breakfast should still be a box. Hotels are using Covid as an excuse not to hire more staff and actually serve travelers a decent breakfast. Stayed at a Hampton inn a month ago and had a full warm breakfast buffet. No excuse. Had to go to the Waffle House next door and drop 50 dollars for family breakfast.

Beds at Hampton Inn are always comfortable. It was clean and staff were friendly.

Staff was very friendly and helpful from the time I got there until the second I left. Not just with me but also with there interaction with other guest I observed. Especially the front desk.

All interaction with staff was very pleasant and helpful. I've stayed at Hampton's on many occasions and this is one of my best. It's probably the best actually. It was highlighted by a great continental breakfast.
