Hotel currently being remodeled, workmen and material everywhere. Breakfast room in temporary site on second floor. Half of parking lot filled with material and storage containers.

We took advantage of their "Park and Sail" package for low cost shuttle to cruise port and free vehicle parking while we were on a 5 day cruise.

I think you need to update some. Our room had some stains on the furniture which was a turnoff. Update coffee in rooms to Keurig.

I was not happy with the woman (I think her name was (Victoria) who checked us in the late afternoon of August 15th. I had an email with a confirmation number, but she said there was no such reservation number. She took my phone to the back room with my permission, but stayed back there talking to someone for a long time. In fact, at one point I yelled back there asking her to bring me my phone. Before she went back there I asked if there was a room and she said yes, but didn’t offer me a room. When she came back out, she still didn’t say anything. I again asked if there was a room and she said yes, but just looked at me and didn’t offer me one. I was getting so frustrated that I asked another guy waiting if this was making sense to him. It was all very insulting and rude. I do want to add that the ladies at the front desk in the daytime were wonderful! Also the lady that ran the breakfast did a great job. We stayed in 2 other Hampton Inns within 10 days and had wonderful service!

The rooms were a bit dated. The floor was musty and the couch was dirty. My room was also not cleaned daily. Is this a new thing? You have to ASK for room service?

The lobby is very nice and clean. Everyone is friendly. Its very modern.

Fridge not working after attempting to repair (had to throw away food and had no cold beverages. A/C didn't get cold. Remote control didn't work even though maintenance changed batteries. Left messages for Manager-no response

Besides my answers above… having an option to rent newly released and older movies would have been a HUGE PLUS. However you having multiple premium movie channels was a big hit with me and my woman. The only big negative that that really bothered us was the CURTAINS! The do not close together completely for privacy. We were on the bottom floor in room 131. I had to physically overlap the curtains and push my shoes against the window on top of the air conditioner to keep them closed so no one with bad intentions could peek in at the middle of the night. This was a bit disturbing. The breakfast was pretty good. We saved a little money this morning. We didn’t have chance to take a dip in the pool because we only stayed one night. Overall this is a very nice hotel and we give you guys a 8.7out of 10. It would’ve been higher but those curtains have to be addressed.

We asked for a room cleaning the morning of and front staff said we had to let them know the night before. So our room was never freshened and we had to empty our own trash, get our own towels, toilet paper etc. Also the ice maker was not working.
