Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaDrawbacks for us: no coffee/tea maker in the room. Coffee was provided in the lobby in the morning but would've liked to make my own. Lobby/bar area were under renovation during our stay. No amenities of that sort available to us at the time. Another minor complaint: no storage. No bureau with drawers. Also, electrical outlets only on one side of room.
Room was clean. The bed was very comfortable. The AC worked well. TV was excellent. (We watched NCAA basketball when we returned to the room.) Location is excellent. (Close to 34th St/Herald Square train entrance.) Staff was friendly. Perfect home base for a NYC trip where your room is mostly for sleeping or recharging during the day.

United States of AmericaThe checkout time (11am) was a bit earlier than my personal preference, but it actually worked out well for my itinerary. The bed was not as firm and supportive as I’d like, but I slept just fine. There was no microwave or refrigerator in the room, so it might be an inconvenience if we had stayed for several days or longer.
Fantastic location, right by Koreatown and just a short walk to Herald Square, Penn Station, and many restaurants and shops. We did hear some street noise every now and then, but it wasn’t so loud as to disturb our sleep (or maybe we were just too tired). The room we got looked pretty close to the photos online and was quite spacious by NYC standard. I liked the high ceiling and uncluttered look of the space. I also appreciated that the hotel offered both ice and filtered water to guests.

United KingdomThe bathroom door had glass, but the bathroom window didn’t have anything to block out the light. As a result, light streamed into the room despite the blackout blinds on the room window.
Stuff, room decor, cleanliness, room size, good amenities(especially I enjoyed their shampoo and conditioner, they were great!), the ice and water supply and location!

Location is great, the building is beautiful. Our room was super cute but tiny - the bed takes most of the space. It's hard to move around ;) The bathroom is excellent. In general, very happy with the experience.

United States of AmericaThe elevator did have an issue on our last day, but they we're working on getting it fixed.
The luggage storage was very convenient, especially for flights that land earlier than check-in. Room service was very helpful and sheets were replenished everyday. This hotel is in a great and convenient location.

United States of AmericaUnfortunately, for us the bed was too soft and the walls were quite thin. We heard our neighbors often, and especially what we are assuming was the heating system for the water. Also, the lobby restaurant/bar was not up and running yet, but that did not take away from our trip, and it will be exciting to see what they do with that space when it’s ready!
Amazing location, Times Square adjacent without being right in the hustle and bustle. The room and facilities were very clean, the lobby is beautiful, and the couple staff members we encountered were very kind.

United States of AmericaThe housekeeping carts being parked in the second floor corridor overnight are inconvenient and potentially hazardous to someone with a disability in an emergency. Looking forward to the bar being open, would be nice to have a place to meet for drinks in the evenings, and use real coffee cups in the morning instead of disposable ones. Need hooks in the bathroom.
Room 210 's little foyer area was cool - having two doors between me and the hallway ensured it was quiet.

South AfricaDuring the night as the central heating turns on the pipes outside our window rattles quite loudly and we didn’t sleep well on the first night. Afterwards, we did get used to the noise and slept well for the remainder of our stay.
Awesome location close to some of the main attractions in NYC. The rooms and bathrooms are very spacious and well decorated and the staff are very friendly and go above and beyond to assist.

United KingdomAs mentioned above, a piece of furniture with drawers would be welcome to supplement the small cupboard space. I only mention this for fellow insomniacs: I relied on the air-conditioning unit for heating (which was entirely adequate) as the main radiator made quite a lot of noise. The management was able to turn this off for me and the problem was solved.
I stayed in this hotel for two weeks and the staff was wonderful. My room was spacious with a vast TV and a full bathroom so I was able to warm up with a hot bath on arrival, which was great. There is a safe large enough to accommodate a laptop, and for short stays the small cupboard space is fine, but for longer stays it's a little restricted especially as there is no chest of drawers in the room. The bed is large and one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in, and although you're in the heart of midtown, if your room is at the back, it's very quiet. Location-wise it's fantastic. It's three blocks from Macy's and the Empire State Building and there are subways two minutes away. It's a ten minute walk to the TKTS booth at Times Square if you're a theatregoer and want to stock up on half price theatre tickets or take more subways. There's a Korean deli just across 5th Avenue which offers pizza, salads, sandwiches etc. (stay away from the unappetising-appearing hot food) but if you want a proper supermarket, there's Wholefoods just five minutes away on Madison and 28th. The hotel is currently setting up restaurant service, so there's no food in-house, but they offer free coffee/tea in the lobby from 8AM - 12PM every day, which is terrific. All in all, I had a great stay there.

United States of AmericaThere was noise coming from the heater like someone was banging on it —- Not sure why they charge $25 resort when it is not a resort.
The decor was modern. The room was spacious. The bathroom was pretty and stylish with a great shower. The hotel was nice and quiet. It’s located in a good part of the city that is within walking distance to a Whole Foods market.—- I slept like a baby on the comfortable bed. There was ice and water on my floor. The gym was small but it had what I needed. Coffee and Tea was complimentary in the lobby in the morning. Staff is professional and welcoming. Great value for the money.
