Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content

- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

the pick up from terminal 5 we waited for more than an hour. I sent message ahead of time. It took forever to get through on phone.

Needs a covered walkway from airport train halt to hotel. In heavy rain, you could get soaked as its about 100m.
Breakfast was good and started early. The hotel is just in a good location.

Did not explain we needed to use train from airport. We spent a long time searching for shuttle. Did not inform us swimming pool no longer available. We prepaid breakfast fee however no buffet breakfast available 2nd morning due to it being Easter Sunday. We were given limited options from menu.

The room's (9067) air conditioning/heating wasn't working and it was uncomfortably cold (60s). For a one night stay when you're exhausted after a long flight, you just want to rest and not mess with malfunctioning item. Consider this a report to fix it for the next customer please.

Would have liked access to meals outside the hotel but given that it was in O'Hare itself, that really wasn't feasible.
I chose this property for the location, within O'Hare, walking distance to my terminal for a very early morning flight the next day. My room was attractive and comfortable, just what I needed.

The room was extremely dated. There were no USB ports to plug in devices for charging and I ended up using the ports found on the back of the smart tv. Other than body lotion, bar soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, amenities were lacking. No toothbrush/toothpaste/showercap/slippers? Really??? You are paying for location and location ONLY HERE. It’s almost $300 a night and also does not come with breakfast. You get more for your money at a Holiday Inn Express… Ladies/people traveling with children-the ice machine was located in a dimly lit secluded room/hallway, ripe for sexual assault/abduction. Take someone with you/don’t let your kids go get ice alone.
The front desk clerk was kind enough to give us some bottles of water. Our flight had been delayed and we ended up checking in around 3am. We had walked quite far from our gate and were in desperate need of hydration. This small gesture was everything.

The room which we are in is always too cold for us and never perceptually responds to the control. Usually we just get under covers as soon as possible and are glad when it is time to leave. This time a heater was brought in and it made all the difference. We think that shouldn't have to be done.
Location is perfect, and the only reason we stay there every year.

While having dinner at the restaurant, someone, an obvious transvestite, tried to force his/her way on to the seat next to me. The situation which could have gotten out of hand was handled quickly by the security guard and waitress which I appreciated.
After being stranded in Chicago by American Airlines who seemed to care less, the person at the front desk saved the day by being helpful, cheerful, and upbeat, I wish I would have remembered her name. I arrived around 10:00 PM on Friday night, she was an African American woman, probably in her 50s, please let her know she made my day.

For the cost of such a hotel stay I would have appreciated a "free" swim as part of my guest stay regardless.
It was a great hotel for us arriving from a long haul flight. A chance to rest and recharge before the local flight.

Hilton needs to invest in this facility. I used to stay there for business, have a meal there before a flight. Casual restaurant has lost its luster. Rooms need painted around all the rough edges. Interior design of rooms is very old fashion. Best thing to say is the location is perfect if you’re flying out in the morning and price was not bad.

The facilities were a bit threadbare and dated, especially the bathroom. The room service was very poor, they got my simple order wrong and it was delivered in a plastic bag in plastic containers with plastic utensils. Too much plastic!!! If I had known, I would have made the trip down to the restaurant to be able to eat on a plate.
The Chicago airport Hilton could not have been more convenient, about a 3 minute walk from baggage claim. The front desk crew was friendly, enthusiastic, helpful.
