I expected a bit better quality from a Hilton. The rooms were clean but the bedding was very thin. Like, really thin. Looks like they renovated from the 80’s with a coat of paint over doors that didn’t match the new decor. I’d give the rooms a c+.

We used the pool a lot and I noticed the area didn't seem to be cleaned during the day. The chair cushions seemed a bit worn out and the poolside area could have been cleaner.

The breakfast was excellent, loved being able to choose from a variety. Would have preferred one more cereal option - there were a lot of kids cereals, cornflakes would have been good. Good location. The room was clean and the bathrooms were good, hot shower and good water pressure.

The ONLY thing I didn't love- and this is so nitpicky - is that our room was right across from the ice machine and elevators, and that woke us up a couple of times. Other than that, the room worked perfectly for our family of four.

The Hilton Garden Inn was fantastic. It's two blocks from the White House (which is helpful when you need to drop off bags before going there), immediately adjacent to bus and subway transportation and the staff is great.

In general paying for parking sucks in DC. But the valet at the hotel is the same as parking your vehicle yourself in a garage, so you might as well take advantage of the service. They did a good job getting the vehicle to us when needed and informing us how to use the app. So this could be a like/dislike item. :-)

The restaurant was understaffed, could've been a better variety of food. The room we had was next to a busy street. It was very loud.

Although breakfast was included in the price we paid, the waitresses harrased us every single morning, because they wanted us to pay. First, they wanted us to sign a bill, then they came back and explained that they think we should pay and tip them. That happened every single day, it was very very annoying. So guys, do not sign anything and do not pay.

Great location, it is less than 5 minutes walk from the White House, however, there are very few places around where one can get food. Fairly good breakfast, nice pool, nice bar.

A month has passed since the deposit was completed, but it has not yet been returned. The person in charge has not yet returned, so there has been no promise of when it will be returned. I also thought that if I hadn't messaged the representative, they might have forgotten about returning my deposit.

The air conditioning unit in the room was very loud and woke me up at night. I also could hear street noise as I had a room facing the street. This was a little annoying.

The hotel is in a good location. The room was very clean and large. The in room facilities are very good. Breakfast at the hotel was also decent - a typical American style breakfast. The gym and pool are nice but are small. The staff were very helpful.
