On overall: it really was a fantastic stay, so please see these tips of advice as very minor things. I do would like recommend the following. First: The breakfast when delivered at the room. This was all jumbled toghether in one bag. And not even a plate (plastic or paper) was added. So I had to eat from the box where everything was just jumbled in together. Personally I think it would be a nicer presentation (also from the perspective and experience of the guest) to seperate the different breakfast-ingredients (potatoes, sausages, eggs etc) in different boxes, and add plates - giving it a more civilized feel. Secondly: even though the balcony was really awesome, they had two old metallic chairs that were really dirty, so I had to clean them first - and put a towel over it, not to get my own clothes dirty. Third: there was a nice i-pad like thing showing some information about the hotel and facilities. But it was difficult to handle: it showed there were several venues to have dinner, but was not clear on what floor to find them, or where to find the menu, and what the opening/closing times were (where is the breakfast location?). Also I had to unplug it- and shut it down, as every night it would update software and filled the room with an eery blue light. Again, my stay was awesome, and these suggestions are very minor - but I think they might upgrade the feel of the stay a lot- with some very minor changes.

Absolutely loved the location, and the amazing view. The staff was really nice. I went for a room with balcony looking out at the city skyline. And they totally delivered: such an amazing view of the San Francisco Skyline, - looking eastwards so the sunrise would be seen when waking up every morning. This was really what I was looking for, and it was beyond my expectations. Absolutely adored my stay.

I didnt like that the stores I like were all closed. I didnt like that there was so much dog poop on the road but thats not the fault of the hotel.

Bed was comfortable, slept like a baby. The room was clean and nicely designed. The location was ok, my only complaint was that all my favorite stores in the vicinity were closed. I came to to conference which was great.

not really in a pleasant location and no restaurant, in a property that size!!! check-in was way too long, especially when the hotel knew they were hosting a conference.

We got an upgrade of our room, but the double suite was relatively small as well; but it's a comfortable stay.

No on property dining. Shower was average. Grab bar in location guaranteed to hit an elbow. Location is unfortunately next to a third world encampment.

It’s an old hotel so can’t expect it to be plush. Room decor fine for business travel but would have been disappointing for a leisure / couple trip.

Great location. Good value. Perfect for business stay. Comfortable. Stunning rooftop bar with views of city. Outdoor heated pool and jacuzzi was unexpected and fab. Gym well equipped. Blackout blinds in room. Room was quiet. Powerful shower. Helpful staff. Fastest room service I’ve ever experienced.

Parking in the hotel was expensive. There are other parking places remarkably close with much lower prices. However, if that doesn't bother you then look no further.

The location was superb. Only a few minutes to drive to Golden Gate, Japan Town, China Town, Golden Gate Park etc. Lots of eateries nearby and shopping centres/malls too. We had a long stay and therefore lots of clothes to wash. However, there's a laundromat nearby within walking distance. Walking distance to Powell St cable car.

Two person room but only one lounge chair. Tablet not easy to operate, No paper or pens. Requested high floor when booking. only offered 18th. Paid extra for higher floor but view was mainly of buildings. Breakfast included but not a great variety, continental options fairly ordinary. bacon very greasy. Shower exhaust not working. Ice machines only on every second floor. Lift instructions not advised and directions in lift unclear. Prices in lobby cafe exorbitant. Room lighting, no central light. Tonic flat in rooftop bar.

Good location, clean and well maintained. has all the basics, toiletries, TV. coffee maker, fridge, desk and chair. Comfortable bed and pillows, good shower and towels. Close to Union square and many restaurant options. Helpful staff especially at front desk. Good maid service. More a business than a vacation hotel.

The quality of the facility is typical US which is low. You hear neighbours easily, doors are thin etc. but this is the usual US style and cannot be compared to Europe.
