Pool was closed and it never said this online. In their defense, it did say that they were doing a major remodel, but did not specify the pool being closed. Kids were a bit bummed.

Stayed here over the years as I am a local … we always go for our anniversary (Dec 28th) yes it would have been nice if the property was ready and everything was open, but the room was nice and the staff was amazing .. we had a great time on New Year’s Eve!

The outside bar was under construction and when we booked on this website it didn’t mention any construction! We probably would have not stayed there because of that and would have been a good thing to know prior to booking!

Pool/cabana and our waitress who served us at the pool was awesome! Also front desk staff brought me a bottle of champagne since we were celebrating my birthday

The hotel changed me full price with no discount and there was NO access to pool and loud noise of construction No breakfast for a good price. I should have been offered a discount rate due to hotel not a full access to comfort. But front desk staff was very friendly

the construction was a bit more than what we thought it was to be and we were really looking forward to be able to have the Tiki bar feeling but found out when we got there that that was closed during the week.

the location was great. being right on the beach was exactly what we were wanting. the staff was every friendly and accommodating. room was great size, and the beds were fabulous.

The bedding is old, the rooms could use some updating. The kiddie pool was always dirty.

There was construction going on. The booking did not disclose this information. The experience lost the appeal due to the noise. We needed to evacuate the room at 9am when they worked. The pool was super noisy due to the construction being done right in front of us. Drilling noise was unbearable.

The property was under construction and I think that should have been on the booking.com website. The outside bar was closed and scaffolding around. Also the front desk said we could not count this stay on our Hilton Honors account because we booked through a third party. I think a Hilton stay is a Hilton stay no matter who booked it we stayed at a Hilton.

My ratings would all have been 10 if they did not charge $20.00 per day for parking in the private lot that was never anywhere close to being full. Breakfast is way overpriced. The buffet is exactly the same as free breakfast at other hotels except they didn't have a waffle maker. The omelet bar was nice but still way overpriced. Lunch menu is very limited. food was good but overpriced.

What I didn't like? The personnel. Especially the ones from breakfast. Especially the blonde older "lady" with that strange hair. We booked accommodation together with breakfast, as I always do, all around the world. But I never saw so disgusting pressure from the breakfast personnel to tip them. WTF? It is a buffet breakfast, I was taking everything by myself, including coffee. They didn't care, keep asking for tips. Also continuously wanted to charge me , just to get tips. When I told them I have breakfast paid, they mentioned that tips are not included. What? For what? This continues hustle for tips it's very annoying. If I get good service, I have no problem to tip. But here what is the service I am getting, dear hotel management? Can you pay your staff enough so they don't make us customers feel bad, look at us like we are some criminals? This I never saw in my life , and I really really hate it. Also my room was cleaned once in 3 days. Which is not enough.

Having to pay for 4 persons in your room and being charged to have 4 chairs at the beach- it was an additional charge of $50 per day!!!

The gym equipment was old and dirty and some of the machines did not work. Some of the staff were very friendly and others seemed less than thrilled to be there. Some of the bikes worked great but others needed tune ups for things like chains falling off the gears. Wifi was spotty, but worked.

The beach was stunning and the food was excellent. Maid service came everyday which was nice. Not all hotels do that since COVID. The sidewalks along the road were great for running, walking and cycling. The hotel was nice and clean and the little store had my favorite - Dunkin Donuts Iced coffee (in a bottle). The hotel was close to a shopping plaza with a great little surf shop that had great beach clothes. There were enough beach chairs for everyone and the staff helped get everyone set up with chairs and umbrellas. I did not feel like I had to fight for a spot.

There were plumbing issues with toilet and unable to get cold water to run at the sink 90% of our stay. We were given a room across from elevator and ice machine, which was pretty noisy. Furniture was dated and not clean. Their form letter sent regarding someone smoking (Pot)on the floor was weak. They definitely could have found the room, pretty strong odor on the floor.
