We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Online we were supposed to be getting a king room with a pull out sofa and there was no pull out. We had kids with us and this was really hard to figure out what to do. Thankfully the the woman at the front gave us a roll out bed to help. It was fine but was not as big as a pull out sofa so the other kid had to sleep in bed with us. Online information needs to be changed. The staff said this happens frequently. If we had known there was no pull out we would have made other plans.
Location was great. Hotel was clean. No smoke smell and no chemical cleaning smell which was nice. King bed was comfortable. TV was great with lots of options to watch.

The manager of food for continental breakfast was rude to my husband and spoke coldly to another staff member. We overheard the staff member telling a front desk team member that he was being spoken to harshly by this man in the kitchen. Other than that, everyone was very friendly.
The beds were very comfortable; it was quiet; and we all really enjoyed our stay. It was a super convenient location for our family to enjoy Tweetsie that evening and the facility was clean and decorated nicely.

The "couch" in the King Suite is not comfortable and needs to be replaced with a club chair and ottoman. The shower in this particular room was not working properly but still usable. My husband reported it to the associate at checkout.
The breakfast was very good. The food was hot and was replenished frequently. The posted sanitation grade is 100.0 The bed was comfortable and the room overall was "roomy". There is plenty of space in the bathroom for toiletries.

Friendly customer service. Assistant general manager, Allen, was superb and friendly with our greeting at 10:00 pm arrival! This was unexpected. Breakfast staff was also very personable and welcoming. We felt taken care of and will definitely recommend this location to others! The accessibility for our dogs was great on the first floor. As a fur-friendly family this set up was perfect! Not many facilities have such an open grass area for pets. A plus!!

Fix the fire alarm
It was a perfect hotel for a girls weekend to Blowing Rock everybody there was super friendly, we sat around the fireplace in the evening with a bottle of wine, laughing. I would stay here again

Arrived at 3:30pm and had to wait over two hours to check in. Housekeeping backed up. I get it but at least offer me a water. Poor front desk staff dealing with a lot of unhappy people.

They did not have enough staff to clean rooms so we were given our room 3 hours late. We arrived ay 3pm and room was ready at 6pm.

Unfortunately breakfast oven was broken and no suitable food offerings for diabetics. Sadly reception staff knew of no breakfast alternatives locally so I just had to do without for once missing out on my “breakfast included”
Nice hotel in convenient location. Good facilities. Quiet room.
