The elevator was slow. There's only 3 floors to the hotel and we were on the 3rd floor and it took 3 min to get from the top floor to lobby. That doesn't sound long but actually time out 3 min. I've been to the top of Willis Tower & it takes longer to get to the lobby at this hotel than it did to get to the top of Willis tower.

Location was great. 3 minutes to Backwater Jack's.

Pool inside cloudy and smelled off. Breakfast area too small and crowded easily. Items not being restocked like eggs, yogurt, biscuits.

The elevator was not working and we were on the top floor. It did have an outside entrance which made it easier to access but one had to use the stairs for everything else during our stay and that was difficult for older adults. However, the hotel did discount our room price which we appreciated.

We loved the location and the room was large and very clean. The staff was accommodating and helpful. The breakfast was very good and there was plenty of food! The laundry service was free and the machines clean and easy to use allowing a large load!

Minor detail. The elevator wasn’t operating and I was on the third floor. I have a very sore leg at the moment and climbing stairs is a bit painful. All in all - not a huge issue.

The breakfast selection was perfect. I wish a lactose free beverage option was available during the meal time. The staff that I encountered were quite pleasant and helpful. It was a perfect location for what I wished to do while at the lake.

I/we did NOT like the fact that "short little ole ladies" cannot get into the beds because they are way toooo high/tall off the ground. We laughed like crazy at each other trying to get into their bed. I would suggest a fold down step (from the bed frame/pedestal) be incorporated into said frame. Or as an alternative, have a small step stool available. It could be slid under the nightstand since it was not solid on the bottom portion. Also, there was only room for one person to lay out their suitcase. An additional "luggage rack" would have been most helpful. It could probably been stored in the closet (instead of an ironing board). And we found it frustrating that there was no blow dryer for our hair after bathing. We found the iron and ironing board (at a lot of places you have to ask at the front desk for these items), but no blow dryer. Fortunately one person brought one with them and we shared.

#1. I loved that the Inn has an indoor swimming pool. It was a very chilly weekend that we were here and that pool felt soooo good after standing outside for 2.5 hours to watch a parade. 2. The beds were VERY comfortable and we liked that the pillowcases read "soft" and/or "firm." It made it real easy to swap pillows between us!

They put us in a handicap room which was right next to the front desk and the pool so it was very hard to sleep. The walls are paper thin and could hear our neighbor no matter what they were doing, even just clearing their throat. There was only one ice machine and it was on the third floor which was very inconvenient. The tub was extremely slippery. I also felt that $149 for a room was a little high since it wasn't that high of quality.

Several of the workers were exceedingly kind and helpful, but there was one worker in particular who was always on her phone at the front desk and was never very helpful. The breakfast was nice- good selection and there was hot food and coffee available.
