I did have a handicap room which was okay.

The stay was as expected based on previous stays at a Holiday Inn Express. Breakfast was a little a little disappointing. Have been used to sausage gravy and biscuits.

Staff was super friendly. We were there for a volleyball tournament and they let us go in early to grab breakfast before we had to leave.

This time, I was given a Member Room because I'm an IHG member, and it had the craziest layout I've ever seen, and disappointingly, there was no desk lamp, which is odd because the chain is rather famous for its modern desk lamps. Also, they seem to be using some kind of fabric softener on the sheets, which is heavily scented, and I hope they'll stop doing that by my next visit. Otherwise, though, it's like a home away from home for me.

I stay at this Holiday Inn Express frequently, as I have business and family in the East Bay, and it's got a great location and helpful staff. The breakfast is always good and dependable. The parking is enclosed, which is good (under the hotel) but it's a little haywire trying to figure out where to park, depending on where your room is so you can use the right elevator to access your room. But, it keeps you on your toes!

The bathroom is smells cigarets thats why i let the fan on the whole time. I thought i inform the staff that i want none smocking ! That’s the only issue above all is fine.

Room -- very noisy AC, especially at nite. Also noise fom freeway at nite. Only one bath towel. Garage -- very narrow parking spaces . Saw several cars intentionally parked across two spaces. Breakfast -- cheese omelets dried out and cheese low quality.

There isn’t much of anything to dislike about the property. My only “bummer” moment, was learning there was no Disney channel on the tv for my pre-school aged child.

The property is nice, with ample parking and a pool and spa area that we also enjoyed. The 12noon checkout time is a very nice perk to this location.

I told the host that my wife had a hard time walking and he put us in 121 a long way from the front desk and elevator . It was noisy right across from house keeping and right over the entrance to the garage and close to the freeway. That location was a big disappointment !

first: there was not enough light. only 2 wall lights and a reading light in the main area. I used a flashlight that we had brought to choose clothes that I wanted to wear. Second: there were no hooks or shelves to put toiletries on or clothes to hang. We took the ironing board off of it's hanger and hung some of our hanging clothes there. In the shower area we hung towels on the safety bars. There was no where in the bath area to hang the clothes we wanted to wear that day. It required great ingenuity to hang clothes and to put toiletries in convenient places. It was extremely irritating working around these two issues.

parking was tight upfront. I never did try the downstairs as a single female I don’t trust it.

Central Main St., Walnut creek across the street from food and drink. Temperature control was wonderful. Sheets and pillow choice is fabulous.
