The shower was weak. Toilet paper holder was falling off the wall in the bathroom. The heater didn’t seem to be working last night, it should be checked to see if it’s operating correctly!!!

Room was a little run down, peeling paint, that sort of thing.

Breakfast was very good, as was the coffee. Hot water and coffee was available until very late and that was nice. It was quiet, even though it was full on Saturday night. Room was clean, linens were fresh, plenty of towels. Staff was very nice and helpful, attentive to their work.

The check-in process was awful! When first arriving to the hotel to check-in around 2:00 p.m. I was immediately turned away saying not until 3:00 p.m. No questions no offer for exceptions or anything. The male at the front desk was very dismissive. I asked if there was a possibility to check on earlier, he did not check continued to shugfle papers and repeated, not until 3:00 p.m.. We left the location to find something to do for an hour until it was 3:00 p.m., came back to the hotel a little after 3:00 p.m. and was still told it would be at least another hour. Our travel plans were with the expectation that we could check-in possibly a little before 3:00 p.m. or definitely by 3:00 p.m., so it was quite frustrating to be told that there was no exception at that time. Around 4:00 p.m. we went back into the hotel for them to still tell us that our rooms were not ready and again no immediate offer for a solution. Eventually the female front desk associate went to check on the rooms; to come back and say that they still were not ready. In our frustration they then at this time offered us other rooms that were ready. Not sure why this could not have been offered hours before, since we were there ready for our room and no one else was around waiting or looking to check-in at the time that we were there. They switched the rooms, so that we could go ahead and check in and in doing, so put us in incorrect rooms that were not accommodating with the amount of beds that we needed per room. Granted when going back to the front desk moments later, they worked to make these changes pretty quickly and put us in other rooms which meant that those rooms were also already available. This again flagged why there was no offer earlier and we were left waiting and being told we could not fully check-in. The water temperature was luke warm when taking a shower. The commode lever was also loose and had to be wiggled to shut of the flush, so water would fill within.

Overall I would say the price for the stay was decent. You can see that they have made some upgrades to the rooms. The hotel is located near a lot of restaurants, so that was convenient. Also pretty close to the highway, making it convenient for our travel.

I travel a ton and never has a hotel not let me check in early. I wanted to check in at 2:25pm instead of 3pm. I can understand if the room was not ready, but I was told no our policy is 3pm. The room was clean, and half remodeled. The carpet and tub was old and gross and should have been replaced with the rest of the room. It’s not terrible, but I’d recommend the country inn suites in Wilson, you can check in early and it’s always spotless!

The location was good. Breakfast was good, the beds are very comfortable!

I stayed 3 weeks and during the whole period the one of the Fitness equipment was "out-of-order" :-/ Booking was indicating Wilson / Rocky Mount which are 2 different cities and dispite the fact I verified the street address of the one in Wilson they booked me the room in Rocky Mount. I had to spend almost 60 minutes to get a room in Wilson....

I can't think of anything we didn't like. Which speaks volumes.

We travel quite often and this hotel is one of those that you just like to stay in everytime you arrive to a city, tired and/or exhausted. You know it will be affordable, clean, comfortable, cozy, and the staff will be kind and accommodating! This is exactly what we received! The location was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The rooms was dated, the entire hotel needs new carpet I’ve noticed a lot of inviting stains in each room I visited, including my own.

The bathroom was not very clean. There was a long dark hair stuck to the toilet seat, pink mold in the tub area, and dark dirty areas in the corners of the bathroom. Also, the carpet was badly stained.
