While there were several parking spaces, some were pretty tight and there didn't seem to be enough for all guests. Street parking was available, but did require some moving of your car depending on time of day.

The onsite breakfast was excellent with fresh coffee and mimosas daily. The location was just at the edge of the strip where businesses and restaurants began. This made for easy walking to all the shops yet kept the noise level down.

Our room was on the bottom floor and we could hear every noise from the upstairs unit.

Very walkable to downtown and the beach, reasonable amenities fee for access to parking, jacuzzi, breakfast and afternoon cookies/sangria.

We had a price difference when checking out (which booking later fixed), and although personnel was very accessible and tried to help (they also reduced USD 50 from the USD 160 difference), the situation could have been handled much differently, with less stress, more time and without us feeling hostages of the situation as the hotel could charge us anyway with our card on file. Could have been avoided with the proper procedure at check in.

Ample and clean rooms. Beautiful property. Jacuzzi was great for relaxing after a long day and food at the bar on the property was great (and so were drinks and service). Loved the architecture and layout of the rooms and outside seating areas.

the mattress was a bit soft, I have stay d another time in a different room, and the mattress was great. maybe this room has not been upgraded yet

Although clean, renovated and well decorated, the buildings are a little old. We were on the top floor and the floor by the sink was soft and squeaky. No air conditioning but the average person won’t need it. Just open a window. Floor fan was provided. I didn’t like that the bathroom window was big enough for someone to come thru. The lock was broken on mine. Room 209. My husband would have liked a microwave in the room and a bigger breakfast.

They acted like they were doing us a favor to waive our resort fee but the hot tub was broken. They kept sending updated reservations when I hadn't changed a thing. Workers right outside our window started working at 7:30 is not exceptable. It sounded as if they were in the room with me.

The jacuzzi was empty (not able to use it). Could hear a bit too much from the adjacent rooms (but we had quite neighbors so was really an issue). A bit outdated/old room.

This hotel has a lot of charm and is ideally located. The breakfast was also very nice. The room was spacious and clean. The shower was so hot (perfect after a day at the beach). While the description says that there isn’t baby crib available, they were able to have one installed in our room.

I was there for work but also pleasure, I need to be on bottom floor. I should have said something. Hauling laptops and business material up 2 flights of stairs was hard plus a weeks worth of luggage. Next time Alex said she would put me at a ground level. A room that was more quiet. Carmel walls are thin and my next door people were loud, which is not the Hotel's problem but it happens.

Alex was very nice, and very frindly and helped me with finding a charger. The other lady was always stressed out.

They put me in a room at the far end towards the street over a room that held the dumpsters. Then at seven something in the morning the dumpsters are being dragged out below us and put in the garbage trucks. It was very loud and literally shook our room. In an hour and a half later, propane truck came and parked right outside. The window was filling the bar across the street. She’s also very loud. I told the staff who were very nice and they said they were gonna have management contact me, but they never did. I reached out to management, but I never heard back , it was like they just ghosted me. I suggested they just don’t fill the rooms on the end on garbage night and there were definitely other rooms available.

It was very cute and in a good location.
